So sorry for your loss. Love, Hugs and Prayers to you and your family. Your husband appears to have been a great man inside and outside. My husband had a massive heart attack five years ago, and grief is tough.
I am a master HVAC contractor licensed in multiple states an I designed a suite that cools down outdoor workers. I built the cooling system for the upper. To be honest I have way too many projects already however I’m pulling this project back out. Rest in peace Eugene.
Why not some kind of scooter? Post Office should supply them with several of those hats and neck wraps that you can freeze and keep in ice coolers to help regulate body temperature. Man the heat is awful. I have been having trouble with my asthma. I can’t even mower my yard 12 acres. Growing up. We get rain. Humidity and heat here in Mississippi is awful.
Whatever happened to the grandfather clause back then it was very hard to work at the USPS to how easy it is to work now but that tells companies like that only care about themselves and profits not the workers like the man who's died who put his entire life for the company for 36 years and this is how his wife gets treated it's a reason why I work temporary work after working five years at my previous company and eight years before that because now companies only care about themselves it's really disappointing
i'm a former mail carrier for amazon. i feel for this wife. her poor husband. prayers for him and other mail carriers that suffer in the heat and cold to deliver mail.
Wait, how could this happen? If he was staying well hydrated and had air conditioning in the vehicle? They don’t walk routes anymore really. Some but nothing like it was. Seems more to this story and I have to wonder what his health was like

We all owe so much to our postal service.
That is so sad. The long life vehicle’s also don’t have good air conditioning.

In the netherlands we wear cold suits they keep you cool for hours. I forgot to say we have only 2 weeks sun a year the rest is rain
Cant tell if this is some weird Germanic joke or what. It's not that hot there or what is a cold suit.

Upper management focusing more on their bonuses than the mail delivery or safety of their customers and employees.
6:00 AM. sounds fair
Why walking routes in Texas ? Why ??? It should be only cbu mailboxes.
Gotta keep yourself hydrated with electrolytes if you work out in the heat, especially in the triple digit weather.

How about put air conditioning in the trucks
