Cricut design space is THE shittiest piece of creative software I've ever came across. Cricut is simply treating their system as a design store. It is time they realized that desktop cutter is a tool. That means first and foremost, you have to be able to load the file and adjust all the technical parameters of a job - tool, pressure, speed, passes count, order of paths, etc. Whatever is built on top of that is just secondary. Cricut maker 3 was actually my first desktop cutter, and I loved the build quality, tools, feel, technology, etc., but their ideas about community relationship just made me return all I ever bought with Cricut logo on it. Whoever tried to ever make alternative software to work with their machines and replace the design space, always got sued and destroyed. Cricut simply won't even try to tend to the needs of their comunity, if anyone else tries, gets sued, and at the time I bought the machine, Cricut was even considering making the Design space subscription based... So in short, they thought it is a good idea to force their users to use their shitty software, and on top of that to pay for it. I absolutely hate to return whatever I bought, but Cricut pissed me off so much, I've never ever returned anything that quickly. I eventually replaced it with Silhouette Cameo 4, which is an inferior machine but with superior software, which makes it in the end much more usable than Cricut. If cricut kept their lawyers in their pants and let the community make the software it needs, they could've absolutely dominated the market of hobby desktop cutting machines.
Cricut does have issues with their software but I recently heard Silhouette went through some issues. They all need dedicated beta testers. Bad software turns people off.
Great video for these specific models of the selected popular brands. There are far more cutting machines brands available to choose from as well as more models within these brands. Look up specific model reviews for features you want within your budget. Look for clearance sales as well or even some used older models to get started. My all time favorite is Scan n cut higher end model. I like this model for sewing machine applique compatibility and quilting. I also like that there is no on going cost of use after the purchase unless you want advanced kits or blades. They all have 3rd party tools you can purchase as well for additional features.
Thanks for sharing. There are many other machines on the market to consider and off brand tools/supplies usually work just as good. I haven’t used my scan n cut with my sewing/embroidery machine yet but it’s on the list. 🙂
As far as I know a specific Scan n cut model is compatible with a Brother Embroidery machine. Both made and sold by the same company. As for Paff, you would need to ask an authorized Paff sewing machine dealer if they have compatible file types and connections to the Brother Scan n cut or if there is conversion software available for that purpose. There seem to be work arounds to everything.
Thanks ever so much for this comparison! I have been undecided for a while if I even needed one of these machines. Now I have a use for one, it was a hard decision (not knowing what they all did/didn’t did) which one to actually invest in. I can clearly see there is only one option now that I have watched your review. The scanning is what I will be using the most so it will be the Brother Scan ‘n’ cut for me. Thanks again. ❤
@@49lucky Do you also have the cricut Maker 3 ? I'm disappointed with the irregular cutouts on the vinyl and cardstock and I'm hesitant to sell it for a brother SDX
Cricut Maker REALLY cuts about 50-ish materials (without the duplication). What’s interesting is Silhouettes and Brother machines can actually cut MORE!
The BEST cutter is the Scan n Cut! You don't have to hassle with any program to cut anything. I'm a card maker and I LOVE the fact that I can cut from any stamp or image without using a computer. The other machines are too complicated and time consuming to be user friendly.
Did you see any difference in the accuracy of the cuts between the machines? I am looking at screwing together various layers, and so the screw holes have to line up perfectly. I will be using Adobe Illustrator to design them.
You never mentioned about software on the brother. Is there an additional cost for software levels/upgrades, and if so, is it a subscription or flat fee?
Brother's software is called Canvas Workspace and it's free to use. Just like the other cutting machine software, there are things you can purchase, but you can create til your hearts content for free. :)
Thank you. I am debating on a Cricut Maker or Brother Scan n Cut. I sew thick fabric. Marine vinyl and would like to use it for cutting pattern pieces. Some bag patterns come with SVG files... any suggestions would be appreciated
that was extremely helpful, the most comprehensive comparison i've seen! thank you so much (i went for the silhouette because i've heard horror stories about the cricut's software being down for a day at the most inconvenient moment which makes it unreliable imho)
Great video, one thing, it is possible to use silhouette studio software with a cricut machine. You will have to purchase the business edition. However. 😊
Great comparison! I had been looking at the Cricut Maker 3 for so long, but could never justify the cost. One thing finally made my decision for me: a Cricut Maker 3 for $AU550-600, a Silhouette Cameo 4 for $AU480-600, or a Brother SDX1000 (SDX125 in the US) for $AU315.
Thanks! From a price perspective, the Brother looks good. It’s a great machine and you can’t beat the scan function and the fact you can do things on the screen without a computer is awesome. I thought and selling mine but changed my mind. 🙂
I understand the machines are wireless or bluetooth enabled, but can a usb cable connect the machines to a computer/laptop? In case the internet or bluetooth is not available. If so which machines. Thanks great video.
I would like to know which one cuts the best, doesn't leave marks on the sheets, which makes the least cutting errors and which one has the best processor please The cricut software can read and make the cut lines on his own or you have to do it manually?
None of these machines leave marks on the sheets and I've been successful with all of them having very little to no cutting errors. Print then cut on the Cricut machine does sometimes need to be calibrated, but for the most part that is stable. Cricut and Silhouette machines can do print then cut and this means you send your designs to your printer and allow the machines to do the cutting - no manual cutting at all. From a software perspective, I believe Cricut's is the easist to use but Silhouette's is the most powerful. Hope this helps.
I purchased a cricut maker for my Granddaughter two years ago, she was busy and only used it maybe 30 times and it stopped working. She has been unable to find any resource to fix it. I purchased it at Michael’s and the warranty period was up by the time it failed. Do you know a) is there somewhere she can take it to get it fixed, and b) is there support for the other machines? I am a retiree and a quilter, and am suffering from arthritis. It’s getting harder to cut the pieces I need accurately. I bought an Accuquilt system a couple of years ago, but I’m finding it wastes too much fabric and the plates are very expensive.
Unfortunately, I don't know where to get a Cricut Maker fixed once it's out of warranty. Cricut offered a trade up program a few years back, but I don't see anything about that on their website todya. Silhouette offers support here silhouetteamerica.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/35000226317-what-is-your-contact-information- and Brother offers support here www.brother-usa.com/contact-us. I haven't used either so I can't say if they are good or not.
Hi - that's a great question. We are working on an updated video including a few other machines we acquired and will include that type of information. Stay tuned...Thanks.
LOL... Tim, you are such a snarky shit... right down my alley. Seriously, thanks for the "compare". I "need" any of these machines like I "need" an extra hole in my head, BUT, I have just enough "use" for one that I'm still sitting on that fence. It appears from your other video selections that you folks are all in with crafting stuff. Big thumbs up! Regardless, a good video that helps folks break down what they can handle or what they want. One day I'll get off the fence and decide on what I want to do.
Thanks for watching and the feedback. We are all things crafting and love experimenting with them. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Jump in and have fun! 🤩
I'm looking for a machine to cut sewing patterns for stuffed toys that I am developing. Which machine would you recommend to cut patterns on fleece fabric?
I have my cameo 4 for a little over a year and I make print & cut a lot. It has so much troubles from the beginning and it was stable for a while (I tried a lot of fixing techniques I found online) but it just doesn’t cut as accurate as I want it to, now it’s like 1mm off. Essentially looking for a new machine 😢 I don’t know where to go from here. Hear great things about Graphtec but price point is too much for me right now.
We just got the Cameo 5. I’ll do some testing to see how well it cuts things from vinyl to HTV to stickers and post results. We haven’t looked into GraphTec yet.
@@rivergate950you mean offset? I do every time. However my stickers usually always contain small designs which mean the bleed is small too so even slightly off would be noticeable. Some area of the page might be off to the right, some area off to the top, some area of the page is accurate. Very frustrating!
Very informative video. I’ve been wanting a machine for some small decal/ vinyl cuts. And maybe some type of heat transfer to shirts. Vinyls for things like text is my main focus. I see lots of Air 2, and Cameo 3’s on Facebook. Which one would be best for vinyl decals. Also don’t have to pay for the software to use it?
Depending on the size you're creating, I would check out the Cricut Joy Xtra before making a final decision. Cricut's software is free to download and use as well as the basic version of Silhouette's software. Any one of them would work but the material cannot exceed 3mm. I haven't tried to make acrylic cake toppers but will check it out and make a video soon.
What is the highest thickness of a material that can be cut? I need it for my 2-2.5mm rubber /flexible epoxy material and was wondering if any of those are suitable . Thank you
They all go up to 3mm but you would need to check the material list for each to see if that particular material would work and what the settings would need to be to get a good cut.
i’m such a super newbie that i need to know from the very beginning. how these machines work and when I purchase one, what other materials i would need if i want to start a merch business 😅
Hey, nice video. As a primary school teacher I do a lot of cardboard cutouts and wanted to have a plotter. I tried the Cameo 4 and was hugely disappointed. Not only was it unbearable load (moved it to another room after 1h of testing) and it also wasnt really able to cut the cardboard reliably. With 10 passes and really slow cutting speed I was able to cut my cardboard. I mainly use the backs of the paper blocks they use in school. Can you recommend the Brother Scan n Cut for this? Would it be able to scan and cut out stuff that was laminated? And which Model would you suggest? Some are quite expensive (585€ SDX1250 for example) compared to the Cameo 4 (250€). Thanks in advance, you seem to answer everything
Hi there. I haven't tried cutting cardboard with the Brother, but will do a test and let you know. And laminated stuff should cut fine. If you go with Brother, the SDX125E is a good machine. The one I have is more expensive because it's the Disney edition. Stay tuned.... 🙂
The Cricut maker 3 I had the first one I had I had issues it would not work and I had it replaced and that one stopped working so I bought a brother sdx 125e and it easy to use and quitter the software is free and the software is harder to use compared to canvas work space I can just put in a sticks paper and just cut it and not have to set it up in designspace
Hi, would you mind sharing if you think brother sdx 125e is more durable than Cricut Maker? I am considering returning my Cricut and getting the brother instead.. Thanks
I do like the Brother a lot. It's set apart with the scan feature as well as the fact you can do a lot of stuff on the LCD screen without the need for a computer.
I also bought the Cricut Maker 3 and I regret it very much. The cut is not precise and I lose a lot of material. I sent it back to fix it, I'll receive it next week, I'll see if it will change. And in addition the software is a disaster with the Ipad always losing connection or the wheel that spins non-stop 🙄
My Cricut has been limping along amd now its finally done.. im not sure i want another Cricut but its a platform that i am familiar with.. so.. here i sit in indecision
Sorry it' done....We just picked up the Siser Juliet. Once I get a chance to try it out maybe we will do another video simliar to this and compare them all again.
What your forgot to compare is the motor compartment. The cameo is louder due to having a better motor and cuts at a higher gram of force. One thing I hate about Silhouette.....no customer service. They have certain "craft Influencers" that do videos for them, and they don't even help with questions. I have had my cameo 4 for 4 years now and I like it better then the 2 cricuts I had before. The only thing that does not work well is using the print and cut. Never cuts right and customer service is just not there to help. And with the update issue this last year, I really have not used it anymore. So in my opinion, don't buy a Cameo. Even though the software is much better, it's pointless. And the pixscan....which is a mat to do scan n cut, is a joke. You have to have a scanner in order for it to work.
Any one of them would work for that. If you're new to design software, I personally feel Cricut's Design Space is easier to use. If you're advanced, Silhouette Studio.

@@craftwithfelicia thanks, I’ll look into it. I’ve been seeing a lot of used air 2’s in my area selling for around 120-150. I feel that’s a bit high priced for a used product when I can buy one newer for a little more. So maybe the Joy xtra is the way to go
Hi. Im planning to buy my first cutting plotter. Im choosing between Cricut and brother. Which of the one is better when it comes to making layered shirt designs and stickers. Thank youuu
Question: The cruit work space you can make the design , send it to the cutter, load and cut the design. It looks like for bother is extra steps since you SEND it to the machine then load the mat then cut it. its not as quick as the criucut since you have to send it to the machine. Is this correct or can you make the brother machine cut from your computer like the cricut without the need of going to the machine?
Which is the best machine for “fussy” cutting ephemera? I am a scrapbooker and most paper pads come with pages of pictures that need to be cut out by hand and I am NOT good at doing that. Thank you for your videos!
If you are working with pages of images, you will need to scan them for a machine to be able to cut them. That feature is available in the Brother - Scan the images and cut them on the same machine. With Cricut, you would need to take a picture, upload that into their software and use the remove background feature. Check this video out for how you would do it with Cricut - ua-cam.com/video/FuJ1UCsZ_sE/v-deo.htmlsi=F5H9X5P66n9HsMt8. Then check this one out on how you would do it either Brother - ua-cam.com/video/Xwz3mkfx6zI/v-deo.htmlsi=z1VSOjj4FkzYbnAC.
All of them can do decals, shirts, print and cut for stickers and magnets. For me, the Cricut is the easiest to use, but others will say Silhouette and then others Brother. Silhouette's software is the most advanced and feature rich. Cricut's software is easier to learn at least to me. Gradients can only be done with sublimation which means you would need a sublimation printer. I just ordered a new sublimation printer by Brother since my Epson crashed today. I'll have a review video on that out next week.
@FamilyUnit ty. Which Epson did you have for sublimation? And can I download free printable stuff from the internet to print or cut? Or does it have to be from the software provided by the brand of the cutter? Also I was told that cricut and silhouette does not print it only cuts. ThNk you again for your help.
@FamilyUnit what Sublimation printer is the most affordable for someone just starting out that is a good pick? Also what's a list of supplies needed to start?
Since when .. I have the silhouette 1 &4 and neither have in built in scanners the pixscan mat was an absolute nightmare to use, for my needs. and the software wouldn’t recognise my printer and I tried two different printers . 🖨️
Ok..just bought a cricut 3 and wondering if i should have bought the silhouette😮...i just want it for my own use but dont want to buy software...should i take it back?
The two machines are incredibly similar. The only difference is silhouette software is much more capable, but a little more difficult to get used to. I think you’ll be great with the Cricut.
Great info! Thanks for puting this together. If i could add one thing I would say you really need some microphones. Your voices were way quieter than the sound effects at the end of the video. Just about jumped out of my skin when the bell went off because I had it turned up so high. But seriously great info! Thank you!
Have a ? For yall i bought the wife cricut maker 3 for her birthday an now im on the hook to get it working 4 her Do you need to pay for design space member ship to be able to buy svg files from Etsy for the cricut maker 3 to cut? Got like 60hrs watching you tube on this an i just do not want to waste resources. Sports logo is her jam while i wear plan t hard to find 4XLT an she wants to match. Thank you for any an all info. Thank you again
Design space is free. If you want Cricut Access it’s about $10/month but it is not required to be able to upload svg files into Design Space. The paid subscription gives you more fonts, images and access to already created projects. I just cancelled my subscription and I’m had no issues uploading images today - both png and svg. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your advice. I feel much more confident about my purchase now. I saw a tutorial that the brother scan and cut was able to scan stamped embossed images. Is there a way of using your stamps with the cricket? Leonie
you said you get free software with the Cricut maker 3 I am sorry to say I get charged 9.99 a month to use cricut machine and you can purchase for 25.00 a life time membership for a business
Design Space is free. If you are paying $9.99 a month you have the Standard version of Cricut Access that gives you access to more projects, images and fonts. And as far as I know there is no $25 for life fee. Here’s the info straight from Cricut’s site - cricut.com/en-us/join-cricut-access
Hard for me to say. I'm not experiencing any issues with any of them. I've had my Cricut Maker 3 since 2021 when it came out. My Brother before that and the Silhouette, I upgraded to the Cameo 5 when it was released.
I’d never buy a cricket my niece had one and her roller wheels broke and they told her will give you $50 off a brand new one…… number one no right to Repair number two fills up the landfill number three why would she invest in a year and a half-year-old machine again? I gave her a scan cut. This is the best machine she ever got…… Brother scan and cut is the only machine to have. It also scans so you can use every scrap even the smallest pieces. There’s no waste.
Bummer your niece had a bad experience with Cricut. But Brother is an excellent machine and we love the scan feature and that you can do things without a computer via the LCD screen.
I'm a newbie here all the way around! Thank you for sharing your knowedge with me (us), sorry forgot your name but your not an idiot, lol silly but no idiot.. I think I'm gonna but the cricut, phew..
You put your materials on a mat than the mat gets fed into the machine for cutting, scoring, drawing or whatever it is your doing as part of your project.
Thank you! I’ve used silhouette since 2016 & I am on my 3rd machine. I have the longer Silhouette 4 and the design software. What I have had trouble with lately is the frequent upgrades. I do other crafts so I may go long periods without using it. But lately I have been using it more. It seems like in the past three weeks I have had to go through updates three times. That is time consuming, and sometimes prevents me from pinning the Silhouette on my computer. Lately, a lot of people told me that the Cricut is more user friendly. I have been thinking about switching. Having computer issues sometimes makes me want the brother. But after watching your video, I think I’ll just keep my silhouette and switch from design software to the business. They have come out with the silhouette five, but I don’t know if it’s just pre-order now. I’m not purchasing. I have to admit, I did not know about the cutter on the back of machine.
I've had a Cameo Silhouette for about a year, and what a frustrating sack of poop software they provide. It constantly fails because there is some bug in the project.
I feel like if someone was just starting today on trying to determine which machine is the best one they would be shocked that it takes 20 minutes to do that but I don't even know if 20 minutes is sufficient. company has like such a bizarre problem with how they promote their stuff. cricut it's just a fail from the outset for me because it's just a subscription trap and there's no reason for that. whatever price cut they have on the action machine itself is made up for in the fact that you have to subscribe to their bullshit. But then it's very confusing which is the better brand between the other two. no idea what brother is doing with any of its advertising or its tutorials like nothing answers any of the questions anyone is asking even in a video called what is the difference between the different models they don't ever tell you what the difference between the models is so just floored by how stupid it is it's just beyond. But the machine looks amazing and like the scanning feature is ridiculous. needs an entire model name for one that literally is no different except it's Disney is beyond me once again but oh well But then Cameo seems like basically the same thing minus the scanner. another conclusion I think I'm coming too you don't need a subscription for the latter too therefore they are better and brother gets you a scanner if you get the best model
They each offer advantages and disadvantages. All have a paid version of their software but all can be used free with limited use. I did upgrade to Cricut Access and Silhouette Business Edition but never did with Brother. I like Silhouette's software because it's easy to save designs out as SVGs to use elsewhere. You can't do that with Brother and not easily with Cricut.
John, everything is under control. We actually hired him to do this to keep the video moving. No one was harmed in the making of this video. Happy Thanksgiving.

yeah cricut is clearly the scummy brand like it's making the same machine it's going to pretend it's charging you less but in reality it's going to cost you a lot more they're going to pretend like it has a million more features than it really has it's the same features just to obfuscate the fact that you have to subscribed to it. I haaaaaaaate companies that do that. down with cricut.
Would have been great to see a REAL comparison! Every time the guy mentioned a topic to compare, the woman was babbling about how great Cricut is. It is not! Cricut is an overpriced entry machine. Yeah we get that you got your first Cricut years ago... which hardly makes for a true and unbiased person to be comparing. Design Space is by far the most expensive and limiting software of the 3. Purchasing a design, you may or may not be able to access that design if you quit paying for the Access subscription...so effectively you are not actually purchasing a design, you are purchasing it to use WITH the subscription. Since Provocraft/Cricut went public last year, they have moved Customer Service totally to India and render the serial # inoperable if you call with an issue - even though they are not replacing the machine. Would have been nice to see an HONEST & unbiased, realistic review of the machines...this was another Cricut commercial & youTube is full of them! Not clever or funny...just same old, same old.
Well aren't you a little ball of sunshine! Cricut is the most expensive and they appear to be moving the entire company to India but they are the most established and still the easiest for a beginner to learn due to the software and the sheer amount of instructional videos on UA-cam, including ours. We are not and never have been and never will be sponsored by Cricut. In reality, we have moved onto laser cutting and engraving and rarely do vinyl anymore. We look forward to your hours and countless thousands of dollars of investment and hours of education and research to compare these machines head to head to head. Betting that won't happen. In the meantime, keep your passive aggressive thoughts to yourself and find someone else to bully because we won't take it here.

Thank you. I am debating on a Cricut Maker or Brother Scan n Cut. I sew thick fabric. Marine vinyl and would like to use it for cutting pattern pieces. Some bag patterns come with SVG files... any suggestions would be appreciated
I haven’t done much fabric cutting with either machine. I’d have to do some testing to see which may be better. Both can bring in SVG files.
@@craftwithfelicia Have you been able to test? I have the Cricut Maker 3 but I regret the purchase, it is not very precise in the cuts 🫤
that was extremely helpful, the most comprehensive comparison i've seen! thank you so much (i went for the silhouette because i've heard horror stories about the cricut's software being down for a day at the most inconvenient moment which makes it unreliable imho)
Thank you! If the software's down you are stuck with the Cricut. Silhouette is an excellent choice. Congrats!
Great video, one thing, it is possible to use silhouette studio software with a cricut machine. You will have to purchase the business edition. However. 😊
Thanks Stacy! I did read about that.
Thanks for the tip!
Silhouette Studio Basic edition is FREE
@@Missvdesigns4u the basic edition is free. However, to transfer files to Cricut, you must have the business edition.

You gotta do one with the siser one too now. Unless you already have that video somewhere lol.
Good idea….just need to get one 🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks 😊 You can connect via USB with the Cricut Maker 3, Silhouette Cameo 4, and Brother ScanNCut.
I would like to know which one cuts the best, doesn't leave marks on the sheets, which makes the least cutting errors and which one has the best processor please
The cricut software can read and make the cut lines on his own or you have to do it manually?
Thank you so much. This was very helpful!!
Happy to help ❤️
Very informative and very, VERY entertaining!! Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
I was wondering how many cutting tools each have. My only use would be for sewing material
All 3 can cut fabric as well as some materials up to 3mm. Check their sites for specifics.
I have been wanting to buy a cutter a d gelt so confused. This has been great! Thank you Fresh and Felicia. You guys are super fun as well!
Glad we could help.
Hi, question when it comes to buying mats and accessories, what's the price comparison between the three machines thanks😊
Unfortunately, I haven't cut fleece on any of these machines so I can't really give a recommendation.
We haven’t looked into GraphTec yet.
have you turned on the bleed function in the software? that expands the image a little bit so if you are off half a mm it is not seen.
@@rivergate950you mean offset? I do every time. However my stickers usually always contain small designs which mean the bleed is small too so even slightly off would be noticeable. Some area of the page might be off to the right, some area off to the top, some area of the page is accurate. Very frustrating!
@@craftwithfeliciaany update on Print and Cut on Cameo 5? I’m still holding off my purchase haha

Very informative video. I’ve been wanting a machine for some small decal/ vinyl cuts. And maybe some type of heat transfer to shirts. Vinyls for things like text is my main focus. I am planning to make custom acrylic cake toppers... would the Cameo be best for me since it cuts the thickest material?
Any one of them would work but the material cannot exceed 3mm. I haven't tried to make acrylic cake toppers but will check it out and make a video soon.
I am considering buying one of these and also interested in making acrylic cake toppers...good inf
This guy reminds me of Mo Rocca from CBS 😂

Wait isn’t he on ABC now?
i’m such a super newbie that i need to know from the very beginning. how these machines work and when I purchase one, what other materials i would need if i want to start a merch business 😅
Would need to know more about the merch you want to make. These machines are all capable of doing a lot.
You need RAID for the cricket lol

Cricut has access which is a monthly subscription, I've been an access user for at least 2 years. It's about $10 a month.
We are also Cricut Access subscribers for years and love it.
“Like merch” 😂
LOL
Would have loved a more detailed comparison of tools. Like which machines can engrave? Is engraving the same as etching?
Great idea - it's on the list of videos to make.
Good point about the motors. And customer service across the board could use improvements.
I want a machine mainly for cutting out pattern pieces for bag making. Would the Cricut still be the best one? TIA!
Any one of them would work for that. If you're new to design software, I personally feel Cricut's Design Space is easier to use. If you're advanced, Silhouette Studio.

Both will do it well. But I think the Cricut is easier to learn…just my opinion.
You have it correct. There is an extra step with the Brother.
@@craftwithfelicia Thank you so much for getting back to me. The information you provided is EXACTLY what I needed!
Which machine will do decals, shirts, handbags, Signs, and magnets? Also what's the easiest way to do gradient for all of the items mentioned above?
Good questions. I'm not sure about pixscan, but there's not scan feature on the Cameo machines.

Design space is free. If you want Cricut Access it’s about $10/month but it is not required to be able to upload svg files into Design Space. The paid subscription gives you more fonts, images and access to already created projects. I just cancelled my subscription and I’m had no issues uploading images today - both png and svg.
Thank Thank you much for this video... ❤❤❤
You are so welcome!
Silhoutte is an excellent choice, and the software is more capable than Cricut. You chose well!
I like silhouette
It’s a good machine.
I think Ashish at Cricut is out of ideas
Don't be mean LOL
I've had a Cameo Silhouette for about a year, and what a frustrating sack of poop software they provide. It constantly fails because there is some bug in the project.
I recently saw some emails about the software having issues. I how that’s resolved. They need better testing before releasing updates.
But then it's very confusing which is the better brand between the other two. no idea what brother is doing with any of its advertising or its tutorials like nothing answers any of the questions anyone is asking even in a video called what is the difference between the different models they don't ever tell you what the difference between the models is
so just floored by how stupid it is it's just beyond.
But the machine looks amazing and like the scanning feature is ridiculous. needs an entire model name for one that literally is no different except it's Disney is beyond me once again but oh well
But then Cameo seems like basically the same thing minus the scanner. another conclusion I think I'm coming too you don't need a subscription for the latter too therefore they are better and brother gets you a scanner if you get the best model

@@countkostaki Yep. We learned that a long while ago, which is why we pivoted. We have a similarly fun and sarcastic video wtih 1.4 million views that really opened our eyes.
yeah cricut is clearly the scummy brand like it's making the same machine it's going to pretend it's charging you less but in reality it's going to cost you a lot more they're going to pretend like it has a million more features than it really has it's the same features just to obfuscate the fact that you have to subscribed to it.
I haaaaaaaate companies that do that. down with cricut.
I have to admit there are some things to not like about Cricut. But when considering usability their machine is - by far - the easiest to use.
