Just have to dump this off my chest here before even seeing the whole thing: Mr Pemberton KNOCKED IT OUTTA tHE GOD DAMN PARK. The sheer amount of musical genres and styles he mixed, all the while maintaining a perfect cohesion is just musical god level.
I’ve had this soundtrack on loop since the movie came out and I am STILL discovering cool little minute details about it every day. This is beyond incredible, Daniel Pemberton absolutely crushed it. I’m so excited to -see- hear how Beyond The Spider-Verse’s soundtrack ties it all together.
The score being the first thing you hear in this movie is so vital to setting up the movie and he just killed it. Well done to all mixers, performers, and the man himself, Daniel Pemberton
As a huge film score junkie for the last 20+ years, I absolutely ADORE these composer interviews. So grateful you guys include them which is seemingly quite rare. Kudos on the great show!
dude. whatever they paid this man for working on this score, he deserves more!! It's actually perfecttt. The songs narrate what is happening in the story so perfectly. God like score
Great interview, thanks for that. I'm such a fan of this guy. He's so creative with his music. And he's a very nice guy. I was lucky enough to meet him 2 months ago. I talked with him for about 20 min I think, and I'll never forget how friendly he was.
Wow, I did not know how much I needed to hear these three passionate people talk about movies, thank you ReelBlend for doing this type of amazing interviews, you guys are great!
One of the best interviews ever. It’s amazing to hear how Daniel talks about other composers and especially Ludwig, I actually noticed a lot of similar elements from the score for Tenet in Across the Spider Verse when I first heard it and I was so happy… now I’m finding out that it wasn’t a coincidence :)
I am so blown away by the score on so many levels that it’s hard to put into words… but just wanted to say THANK YOU DANIEL!! It is absolutely incredible what you accomplished here.
I love hearing composer interviews, there should be more of it! The first episode i ever saw was the Hans Zimmer one and it is what got me tuning in every week. More composer interviews please, can we make requests? :)
He is an absolutely amazing composer, I like his soundtrack to like 20 other films, I’m happy he finally gets the recognitions with working for Marvel!
daniel pebmerton doesnt get the amount of attention and popularity he fully deserves. One of the best if not the best movie composer among ludwig göransson, michael giacchino, etc

YES!
He deserves a Best Original Score Oscar nomination for this film, at least...

Same my favorite is my name is miles morales and spiderman 2099
What I hope to hear again is another version of shoulder touch, but it could be when Miles and Spot get knocked into the Spider-Verse.

Shoutout to Daniel Pemberton for the work he’s done on these two spiderverse movies. Nueva York Train Chase is my favorite 🔥
I know this man will reach Hans Zimmer levels of notoriety. Can't wait to see what he'll come up with next.

He is a little weird with gestures and the way he talks but that’s what geniuses are usually like - a little weird! I adore this man

This was awesome! I’d love to see you guys have Ludwig or Desplat when their movies come out later this summer!
Make sure you go and listen to Ludwig on the show, already!
This was amazing to watch.
Please can you guys interview Metro about the soundtrack. I really wanna hear how he came up with the songs!

This was a great interview, he was so engaging and a joy to listen to! Would be awesome if you could get Ludwig Göransson for Oppenheimer! ❤
Yoooooo into the spider verse’s score is peak, top scores of all time. I do more than play the air drums while listening 🔥🔥
Daniel Pemberton has been the goat ever since the fire he made for little big planet
The canon event/falling apart sound really is all over the score, once you hear it you can't unhear it
Such a good video I saw it for the second time in imax the other day
İ also like the part where in "my name is... Miles morales" theres goose sounds in that part when i noticed that part i start laughing
