'Don't touch the blade with your hands'
Both Chum and Rick go on to touch the blade with their oily hands!
AMITURES
@@Mooseracks bro you cant even spell "Amatuer" correctly lmao
That so-called "Yamamoto" blade was made by 堀井秀明 Horii Hideaki [legal name Horii Toshihide]. The writing on the blade is 皇國興廃在此一戦 "The fate of a Empire is decided by this battle." That was the message Admiral Togo signalled when he flew the "Z Flag" from his flagship Mikasa. These special blades were commissioned by the Suikosha [Navy Officer's Association] and were sold throughout Japan on navy bases. Horii's contract called for 914 of these blades, but only a few survived WWII. Steel from the Mikasa's guns were mixed with the tratitional Japanese steel [Tamahagane] and forge-welded together. Beautiful blades. The Horii line continues and all were/are employeed by Japan Steel; the forge (still used) is called 瑞泉鍛刀所 the Zuisen Tantō-sho [Zuisen Sword Forge].
My favorite part was when they showed the 4 bladed green samurai sword from the thumbnail
Corey ripped that dude off, wonder if he did it for that grammy payback
Exactly what I was thinking, I never liked him to be honest.
Yeah that posed me off
I enjoyed you taking the time to put all these together
Love it when the seller wants retail.
so they ripped off that older black dude...
Don't take high value stuff to a pawn shop, they are in business to pay as little as possible and make the biggest profit as possible. Go to a reputable auction house.😊
Waiting for a Hattori Hanzo....😂😂😂
Interesting,a hidden coin pocket.........my old cell mate used to talk about his hidden coin pocket.I guess he was a samurai
Lots of things like Antique from around the world are Stolen property that ended up in other country end up sold or lease to the museum eg : Chinese ming vase ,pottery, porcelains ,ancient artifacts weapons ect ect
If a Yamambagiri Kunihiro sword by the great katana maker Kunihiro Horikawa is brought to this pawnshop then you are looking at a price not lesser than 3 million US dollars. The family who is making samurai today namely Mr. Kunihira Kawachi is a 15th generation swordsmith whose katana's are considered one of Japan's national treasure.
wow ventage swords Sir Rick was jackpot prize
Very well put together vid.
The last one
So is everything lol
You left out the best one where chum buys three or four swords and makes a killing
Expert , it’s worth 20 grand
Rick, I’ll give you a hundred bucks, I’ve got overheads😂
That girl with the “Yamamoto” tanto was silly
All she heard was possibly 20 grand IF it could be traced back to the admiral
But it was most likely a gift to a lieutenant. Good luck her with tracing it back 😂
Mike always bow to the swords… that’s how you respect all the Japanese blacksmiths.
Saki gahara lol im dead.
Its Sekigahara!
Mike's getting a big kick back on this one
It has fire damage... 😅 thought it was some magical sword there
+Fire Aspect II to be precise
What’s crazy is that you could just heat it up and dunk it in oil to reharden it and then retemper it and it would be basically brand new. It’s a time consuming process to do it the old fashioned way, but well worth it.
forged in fire, sword could have been fixed.
@@UpperDarbyDetailing 🙄 This is not how it work... The blade is beyond repair.
@@diakojim1977 Yes, it IS how it works. I could repair that.
Japanese Gov might wants to buy some of these blades. They trying to collect them back to their homeland.
they should not buy from these colonizers... they have to reclaim it with out giving a dime.
ITS like the last seller been Robbed if he know how much its worth and i guess the buyer know more then they let's you think they dont know? Dont ever tell them you need money thats why you have to sell it because you will get even lower offer Unless they get a appraisal there ?
May katana din si boss toyo sa pinoy pawnstar yung baliktad ang talim
Since Corey did’t have the sword evaluated while the customer was there, he now should call the man and give him more money with is’s higher value and stop giving a value on something they don’t know nothing about. This is why I like Antique Road Shows. People get the value and they have the choice to sell item at an auction or keep it.
With Linda's antique sword, why is it the writings inside the handle looks so new and what is that gold like itching in the Japanese characters that looked very new ???
First and i gave the first like and first view :D
That last sword was the shit
All that unfair shit Corey does caught up with him now he a geeker
I think all these swords should be given back to the families, it was a airlum, and they followed the emperor's words to hand there swords over, they should go back to there family
Then Japan shouldn't have touched our boats...😂
SOOOOOOO the LIST of BEST SWORDS..... includes REPRODUCTIONS???? HMMMMmmmm!!!
We call it katana. Samurai = a soldier who commit an ought to its leader equivalent to its life.
What do you have today? "Just a sword that likely killed 1000 people!"
Dose bullets count?
@@swedietwo No one had bullets when these swords were made.
@@MUDSWAT how wrong you are
@@MUDSWAT get your history right SWATMUD
"what are you looking to do with it?
..i dont know.. maybe sell it?"
is there other possible answers to this than selling it? like i come here to repair it? or i come here to test it?
Right. And notice how much of a "Simp" Corey is for pretty girls. He gives in to a MUCH HIGHER asking price for them. Yet he won't budge for a second if it is a dude. JEEZ !
Good job editing and nice comments mostly, but all the commentary "they were listening carefully" just makes you want to skip further. It kinda makes unnecessary cuts and interruptions.
It is easy to see if the samurai was old, $1500 is nothing compared to the price of other samurais. Corey knows exactly it worth more by looking at the sword itself. $1500 is worth taking risks, the worse he could lose was $1000. The best he could win was unlimited.
Wwwwwiw❤❤❤❤❤❤
The last guy that sold his sword away for $1,500 instead of $15K will feel so regret when he saw this video!
Payback for the grammy!
well it whas worth 5000 to 6.500 after all the work it is worth 15k
@@hennovandamme1093 Polishing is easily $5,000; and getting it properly "papered" [authenticated] in Japan will add much more to that cost.
Hannah Katana Is Hanah Montana's married name
I have old coin and currency and stamps
Of different different countries I'm from India Karnataka Bangalore
There is no green blade disappointed
What happened to 1.5 million?
I'd onistly think about this the Truthfully saying Rick Did Something Truely Right .
Hi
Hello bro I have many coins I need information
Dam she's cute
i think nevada peopple leave schools a bit to early-and went to church for the last education ?
I would not sell is to these people.....
I swear, this Ai voice trend is getting out of hand, it flooded shorts, and now actual videos. It's so dumb.
Seems like a useless object to buy ...hang it on the wall to collect dust for alot of money id sell it too
"BEST" swords and the first one is fake???
33 layers katana sword is a garbage
I heard 33000
Some go upwards of 1mil i think he means compared to that @artur.384
Is this AI commentary?
Yes almost these types of channels having ai commentary or few one have legit
Last dude gonna crap himself once he sees this episode… idiot should’ve asked for professional.
The way these pawn clowns handle tje swords makes me cringe
This makes me sick, watching these historical artifacts getting sold to a hock shop, they should be sent back to Japan
wow, that's some nice shitty subtitles.
Ripoff stars
It is a pawnshop
Clickbait again nothing worth anything
This cover just gave me cancer.
All Japanese swords should be returned to the families, as they are more or less stolen
To the victor goes the spoils
What a ridiculous thing to say lmao.
You want EVERYTHING in the world, tracked back to its owners, from hundreds and thousands of years ago?
@@people3865 the Japanese swords are very specific, that you don't seems to understand
@@people3865 you can narrowing down to ww2
@@swedietwo I understand that they attacked the world, on the side of Hitler, and now you believe we owe them something? Am I understanding correctly? Lol.
Should we also give back all the money Germany was forced to pay? Or any Nazi relics? What a ludicrous thing to say lmao
You stole multiple videos other people made and put them together. Down vote.
90% of this swords is stolen from Japan 1945 y . This is someone propety .
The narrator ruined the video, bad editing, bad voice.
Fake trash show
war relics are disturbing but stuff sold after the war is heritage of families tragic falls
Who the fuck made the subtitle 🤡
