LOVE seeing the Victorian! Your seasonal touches are a must for this house - especially the porch! The one thing I might add for guests is a list of your favorite non-chain local restaurants that use a delivery service. Anyone staying here sure is lucky! It's so very charming... Ellie's scratches included!😘🐾
ANYONE who stays here should feel so so lucky. The house has always been beautiful and welcoming, but the care, attention, and even love you've put into prepping for your visitors is amazing. Great job, Lauren ❤.
I think you should decorate the Victorian for Christmas. You never disappoint. Your videos are so entertaining. They are so calming to me. I love everything, chickens, decorating, cooking, gardening!
We owned a condo on the beach and even though it was a rental I wanted it to be beautiful. I put some of my favorite things in there and for the most part they were well taken care of, so make it how you want and don’t worry about what everyone else says. One thing to add would be umbrellas since a lot of people forget to travel with one.
You did a fabulous job getting this home ready for Air BnB. Your previous home is so beautiful. I'm sure you had such great memories while getting your Victorian home ready to list.
HAPPY Sunday Lauren, family, and fur babies. Went to Church; and ordered take out today, because I did not want to cook...lol. Took a nap and watching my girl Lauren. I did not realize how I missed the VICTORIAN. Lauren I know you and your husband GOT THIS...I know that you have checked all the boxes. PRAYING THAT WHOMEVER IS STAYING AT THE VICTORIAN IS CLASSY AND HAS GREAT MORALS AND RESPECT FOR OTHER'S PROPERTY AND THE NEIGHBORS. We are considering doing an Air BNB with our property and yes those thoughts run through your mind. WE will do credit checks and whatever our Lawyer and Accountant want's lined up. ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS...STTB 2XS
Love this home so much! And yes, add some holiday touches as you can! The guest that staying there are going to be super happy! I would potentially suggest a pack-and-play for families with small babies. When we traveled years ago with babies we specifically sought out hotels and homes that had one for kids so we didn't have to travel with one! Just a thought ❤

This is a beautiful Victorian home now transformed into an AirB&B!! You have included everything one would need to enjoy their stay. Everything is high end and luxurious!! The stay is well worth the money!! Amazing Sis and job well done!! You always do extraordinary decorating!!
Gosh, I love this victorian! Whoever stays here will have to feel and love the beautiful surroundings and pure luxury you've created. You always impress me. The house looks amazing. I would be SO excited to stay there. When we have stayed in an AirBnB these are the things I appreciated. Board & card games (adult & children’s), decaf coffee & tea options, stevia or monk fruit sweeteners, sugar free coffee creamer options & heat hair styling tools. And I would pick a decorated house over non decorated every day 😂 Especially Fall, Halloween & Christmas. Including the bedrooms. I love your videos & appreciate the time you put in them.
Everything looks amazing! You’re super organized and classy; I bet you already have a binder with all local sites and restaurants to check out.
We used to do this before Airbnb was a thing. I recommend fresh flowers in vases here and there in the home. A few simple arrangements of fresh flowers is an extra that’s worth it. Having fresh flowers delivered weekly is a way to ‘check in’ on guests. This may seem expensive but everyone loves fresh flowers and you can make sure the place is being cared for in a gracious way.

I’ve been in real estate for 25 years so I know a bit about rentals - including VRBO and Airbnb’s. You would think “rich” individuals (people that can afford a 30 day rental in Napa Valley) would take care of things but I have often found those who aren’t “rich” but have worked hard for what they have and are able to be more considerate of others possessions. I would suggest that you only put items in your Victorian that you are willing to have broken, ruined or stolen. In other words, replaceable things. Most individuals will be honoring and will be on “good behavior” but there most likely will be one or two that are not so please protect yourself. Beautiful home. Beautiful job. ❤

My inlaws used to rent a place every year for Christmas. They decorated the whole. We all loved it! I think it would be a great idea!

The house looks amazing.!!! In our aibnb here on Cape Breton Island, 🇨🇦, I added a guest book in the form of an adult coloring book along with the pencil colors and sharpener. ( it's a "lighthouses of Nova Scotia" one this time) It lives on the coffee table in the living room, and it's a big hit. It's fun to look back and see all the entries!

I think a little Christmas in July would be nice. As for those scratches that Ellie made, maybe you could put a plaque of some sort with her picture and explain why they are there. . I’m sure you’ll come across animal lovers who will completely understand.

I would close all toilet bowls when making videos.
Also the front door is sentimental to you and your family but renters may not care for it. Maybe you should consider replacing the front door and taking that scratched door to your new house.
The bed linen will look more presentable if they were steamed or ironed.

Yes decorate during christmas. Especially since the minimum stay is 30 days. It would be great for home away from home and it would make the stay more magical.

Looks lovely! I bet it feels nice to be there as well. If you allow me, I would put less decor, leave more room for people to put their own things especially if they’ll be there for a long time. Especially less faux flowers, maybe you can add a vase with fresh ones for when someone arrives. Where there is a lot of personal stuff in a place people tend to feel like a guest in your house, and you probably know that feels uncomfortable and like you don’t want to touch anything. I would leave some chocolate on the beds or some fruit on the table or some nice muffins in the kitchen or a freshly baked bread. Things that are actually useful, make people feel like you thought of them specifically and once they are used they can make space for their own stuff.
Yes definitely decorate for Christmas! It will make anyone happy and feel more like a home away from home!

Lauren. You are the most amazing Airbnb hostess EVER. We have rented hundreds, yes several hundreds of Airbnbs and none of them compare to your amenities. I would definitely do the same since I have worked/managed hotels for over 30 years. So hospitality runs in my veins. Don’t worry about someone messing (trashing) your beautiful home, since you require at least a minimum of 30 days stay which means if someone can afford this, they can pay for damages. Being said you don’t want your beautiful home damaged but I don’t think that will happen. I have to say, you go beyond what anyone would do. Also, I know you said it’s 50/5- and sorry to point it out but as someone that’s in hospitality and has rented tons is rentals, get rid of the chairs in the room. Just not pleasant and I’m sure you can store them in the garage/basement or elsewhere. Sorry

I absolutely love that you are taking us along to see the Victorian home! Guests should appreciate this beautiful! My daughter and husband stayed at an AirBnB that had bicycles and they loved them! Also a list with some of your favourite local restaurants for them to experience! I think you should definitely decorate it for Christmas!

Hi Lauren ! You should consider getting a hook to wrap your cords from your blinds on. For safety purposes. Especially if they have small children staying there. The house looks beautiful!! Great job!!
The one thing that many BB don't think about is for beds to add extra for heavier people one center floor brace is not enough 2 to 3 especially given people seat on the edge of the bed also. It's often why beds break and not abuse.
It's why hotels had metal beds also because whole families often sleep in the bed.

Found your channel awhile back. I am so impressed with how you've decorated and stocked your Victorian as an air B&B. I've stayed at several at many of the beaches here in California and they pale in comparison to yours. You've created an upscale home that is extraordinarily beautiful. My mom lived in the Bay Area for many years.... I so miss Dean & DeLuca! Yes, decorate for Christmas! :)
Once agian you have done a beautiful job! This year will be our last year with our band b! It has been a wonderful 7 years for both my husband and I. Both of our children are now married and it is time for us now to sit back and enjoy the good things in life

Absolutely gorgeous. I would have a note informing the guest that if something is broken or missing they will be charge for it . I am afraid the H platter and blankets and other nice deco may just "disappear" .....Wishing you well in this new business.

Wow! Spectacular job setting your Victorian up for visitors. I hope everything with Airbnb bookings goes smoothly for you all. You have gone above and beyond and truly have t brought of everything, Lauren. I’m not sure if I might’ve missed this already but maybe an extra phone charger? TJMaxx always has a ton of them. I would suggest not leaving the cookbook and recipe pages with handwriting on them - someone may spill or accidentally tear. I’ve found that I treasure anything that has my mother, grandmother and great grandmother’s handwriting on it. ❤ You do so many amazing things - thank you for sharing and inspiring us all!

Gorgeous. The one thing I noticed out of all of the perfection is the white chairs in the primary bedroom. Might want to consider taking them to your home or placing somewhere else because the block the access to the primary closets. If your guests are staying more than 1 night they will want access to those closets which means they will drag the chairs away from access and possibly scratch your floors or damage the chairs themselves accidentally. Just something to consider. Thank you for sharing the lovely home.

Greetings from Japan. I used to be a foreign exchange student, and I visited Napa once. Napa is a beautiful place. If I could visit Napa again, I would love to stay at the Victorian.I really respect your hospitality for guests.
How exquisitely done. The thought and detail to provide for comfort is extraordinary…as is everything that you do! What you don’t want in a photo are distractions and the first thing that came to mind in your lovely table scape was that I would love to have seen it finished with flatware and glasses and napkins.
Also for your consideration, I think it would be worth the investment to mirror one wall in your gym area. You have created just a stunning home!
