- Do the Mini spotwelder and the KKMoon 5000 W spotwelder for Lithium batteries what the manufacturers promise? The spotwelders run on an incorporated Lithium battery. What are the plus and minus points of these welders?
Hi, Great vid! Did you remove the foot pedal on the KKMoon? I have one with the pedal but I don't really like using it.
How does the automatic mode work , my device has a foot switch.
Hmm. Good question! I don’t know! Maybe if you disconnect the foot switch it automatically goes in automatic mode? Gerard
You just keep your foot pressed on the foot pedal and then weld battery after battery. There is a 1.5 second delay after both probes touch nickel. Then you move onto the next battery with your foot still engaging the foot pedal.
hi does the nickel strips used in this video Pure? or Plated?
what is the best 015 and 0.2mm steel/nickel plated strips welder? which would you use for reliable welds?
Mi scusi,il saldatore KKM 5000funziona senza pedale?
does anyone know how to replace the battery of mini spot welder mine wont charge anymore😅
Dankje voor de video!
Nu snap ik waarom ik zo veel moeite had met het puntlassen.
the KKMoon welder may work on 18650 with .1 to maybe .15 strips, but it's way too small for what I needed it for, 32700 with 0.2 pure nickel strip
That is true.
Thank you. Just what I needed to see.
Very good video, 👍
Good set. Can't afford it
As far as ordering from AliExpress, this is the best model available right now?
Good question! Fact is that things change fast and I did not check comparable products the last two months. I did a check right now but did not discover a very promissing welder. Gerard
How is the mini spot welder performing as of today? Thanks!
I just used it a few times since the video. It seems that the welder performs correctly after fully recharging it.
I have the 5000, but it won't weld without the foot pedal! Otherwise it works well.
Keep your foot pressed down on the foot pedal and don't lift it. While foot is engaging the foot pedal do your welds. Light on device will flash once both probs make contact on nickel and 1.5 seconds later it will weld. After weld go onto next weld but don't lift foot off the foot pedal after the previous weld.
Thanks @@Zer0phobia. I am going to short the pedal connection since my work area is tall and the pedal is barely long enough, and I'll use the welder without the pedal!
Have you been able to get 0.25 strip? Does it weld it?
See my later video on improving the Kkmoon welder. Gerard
which model would you recommend for a stronger solder
At the end of my later video on the KKMoon I mention three more professional spot welders. See ua-cam.com/video/qf4BtMmxoaE/v-deo.html. Greetings, Gerard
does it works only with nikel or all metals ?
