google the info of different companies in your city, visit their websites, grab the contact & start sending emails, have a sample ad/jingle ready, most companies won't reply, but keep sending emails to 100s of them, even if 1 responds it's a success, in the beginning this is the only way to approach. If paid offer doesn't work due to lack of experience, make an offer to create a jingle/ad for free, generally no one would deny that, if you make a good one, they might use it as well, now add that in your portfolio and start approaching other brands telling them you've worked on professional projects in the past, you have a better chances of getting noticed this way. Have a business page setup on facebook, create an attractive ad, run a facebook marketing campaign, learn how to target potential clients, if your work is good, you will get noticed for sure. Have patience, it takes time. A youtube channel with good number of subscribers builds positive image & allows you to charge more, so keep growing there. P.S - create an account on freelancing websites, many companies post their projects there for which you can bid & possibly get a contract.
