Remembering back when Tommie Frazier was given the starting job from Osborne in 92’. Tommie made his mistakes early on, but we all know how that turned out. He should have been the Heisman Trophy winner in 95’ he showed the whole country against Florida in the Feista Bowl.
I just re-watched that game a week ago. Good lord we were dominant. Tommy threw two pics and still got player of the game. Offensive line was something else. Also sacked Wuerffel like 7 times. Glorious.
The Florida game was a team effort as fat as that run tommie made Florida was trying to strip the ball more than tackle tommie was good but lets give credit to the whole team O-Line never gave up one sack all year Defense was great special teams was good Tommie Stats 1995 rushed for 9 TDs threw for 12 4 Ints 1159yds Like i said Tommie was good but don't think those are Heisman Stats
@@Dre384 I trust coach Rhule bro. Some people you can tell by how they carry themselves. They exude confidence . Just like you can tell the difference between DR and HH. I’m not Joe Namath, but I guarantee it. We will win.
You make an excellent point that many people forget about. Raiola comes with a lot of hype, he’s very talented…but he is still just a freshmen, and we shouldn’t expect the world from him right away. The potential is there but there will be ups and downs. We should be patient and realistic for now.
I hated Buford Wolves Dylan didn't stay committed to my Dawgs, but I can't blame him for wanting to play as a freshman. I wish him and Nebraska all the best, unless it's against Georgia!
@@JBeck9932 You must admit there is a drawback to getting all the five star recruits, but wouldn’t it be something if Georgia and Nebraska meet in the playoff game? GBR
The biggest mistake last year was rule all in on Jefferson's I watch a lot of football I seen him at Georgia tech I was scratching my head when they took him from the transfer portal and this is what my face look like at that time or my expression😮 Heinrich harborg had no experience so that's the main reasons we sucked so bad on offense it didn't help with all the injuries we sustained it's going to be 80% better on offense than last year That's my take GBR for life baby❤🎉
Dylan has no college experience The #1 reason we were so bad on Offense was turnovers Defense will carry this team until the 2nd half of season by then they will be tired and beat up that's when we start losing
Man i hope we just smoke the Ever loving crap out of Iowa this year.. I can just hear all the excuses now. Lol theyve barely beaten us years consecutively and they act like they're this dynasty of greatness. 😂 Can't wait!!!
Iowa can wait imo. As a kid growing up in the big 12 era i NEED to see Colorado get TRAMPLED INTO THE GROUND BROKEN AND BRUISED SO THEY NEVER WANT TO PLAY US AGAIN. i can stomach losing to Iowa. I will NEVER stomach losing to Colorado.
Let's go! My Rhule aid is over flowing! 200-0 record this year! Haha. Let it be known, Dylan breaks the all time passing record for Nebraska. Just saying
Won't happen Tommy Armstrong holds the passing record 8871 yds in 44 starts in 31/2 years Because Dylan will only be at Nebraska 3 yrs giving him a possible 39 starts reg season and bowl games he would have to throw for 227 yds per game OC likes to have a balanced offense so he will call plays close to 50-50 The heck with passing records lets get the running game going
@patrickobrien2568 that's a big if. I'm not sold on coach Raiola yet. I hope they are improved, but all the talk about how thin they are at o-line is concerning. He's had 3 years to develop the line. Not just the starters, but the backups as well.
Are we going to run the ball or is this just another year of handing the ball off 7yds deep with no blocking, no misdirection, no hope? 3-9 is my prediction

I’m glad he’s the starter. The first year, I just want him to be a good game manager. Once established, he can spread his wings
As long as the O-Line blocks for him he should be ok
First 4 games are at home that will help
When he goes on the road that will be the test

Good for him 👏
Went back to Nebraska for my wedding (from MI) last weekend… first thing I did was buy my Raiola jersey. Standin’ with ya my dude. GBR!
I look forward to the OC calling situations where play action , screen passes draw plays are used.
Now we just need an LT, and a Punter.

If the O-Line holds up and gives him time to throw then he should be ok
He is not a scrambler 8-4 9-3 with bowl win
@@patrickobrien2568 Yep I’m thinking the same thing
There was never a real competition. DR was clearly the best option. I think he alone will help the Huskers win 2 - 3 more games than last year.
I want Dillon to be Dillon. I believe this kid is a natural at the quarterback position. Don't hold him back, just let him play.
I agree Dylan can make all the throws just turn him loose open up the offense once the Big Ten schedule starts. I trust Coach Rhule . GBR

It means nebraska is gonna win back to back nattys after this year
I’m drinking the ryoulaid too man 😂
Easier said than done nowadays it’s not easy to win a Natty .

That is very wishful thinking
we'll see how composed he can remain, when a college level 220lb linebacker and 290 lb lineman pops him in the mouth.
That won't happen if the O-Line does their job
