Good one, I need help to understand why UAT is before SIT

Thanks for your comment. It's not a norm that UAT will always be conducted before SIT. However, usually, UAT will revolve more around testing the scenarios or test cases in the SaaS application. On the other hand, SIT is more about testing the integrations - which is a custom component usually. These two phases may overlap, or may have different sequences depending upon the project plan.
