Man, that pre teaser is so annoying. I don't need a teaser for something I am about to watch. It's obnoxious if movie trailer are doing this and it's equally obnoxious for this type of content. It doesn't generate hype for watching the video (which it doesn't need to - I wouldn't have clicked on the video if I didn't want to watch this), it makes me turn off the video, because I am assuming the rest of it may be equally bad cutted. This is a temporary trend and in a few years people will watch these videos and think "Why do these videos have this bad intro? Oh, right, it was that time when people thought this would be a good idea."

Except it doesn't ruin anything. It's a peak into some of (what likely the creator believes) to be the best clips in the video. There's nothing wrong with it factually, in your opinion it might not be good but that's an opinion.
