I forgot how much I LOVE this song. WOW! LOOK! No flashing lights, no dancers in the background, no choreography, and she is wearing clothes! LOL I am just playing around. There are still some vocalists out there today that can deliver a song without all the fluff. For those that can't, they need to study an artist such as Ms. Nancy. She could sing a street sign and command my attention.

This really is how it should be done! There are some singers today who can sell a song with similar fervor, but they don't always get serious material to bite into as far as singles go. In Philly there are plenty of talented ladies that just don't get that mainstream exposure. Right off the top I think of Carol Riddick, Lady Alma, Treena Ferebee ( I may have spelled her last name incorrectly.) I would love to hear Jill Scott cover this just for the record. She does a great job on this song and gives it much love and tenderness. But, without Carl Anderson this song just does not bring out that magic they had we both sung this song together. The duet were truly great and it reached deep down in your soul when they both did it. No disrespect to Nancy because she's one of my all time favorites. Her and Carl just made this bad boy truly a classic and timeless. They were magic...Peace and Love
@trendsettabeatz89 I get what u r saying, but if u look closely at the music industry today, people who can actually sing like J Hud, Fantaisia, etc are not getting the exposure they deserve, but instead talentless singers like Rihanna and Ciara etc are the ones who r constantly in the spotlight, and that is my No.1 problem with the music industry today. Back in the day talented persons were given the credit they deservered and it wasn't all about the singer's physical appearance and style!
