Imagine if someone turned the books into a stop motion cartoon of this, but it isn’t like the garbage cartoon that Mattel is making, instead, the cartoon art is just like the art from the book so the cartoon series looks like the railway series. That would be good and it would also be slow paced. The part where Bill and Ben keep on switching places to trick BoCo, I imagine The Diseasle Music is playing in the background.

One of them sits on the points in front of boco while the other sits on the points behind him. When they go to switch, they just cross the points to the other side of him. Almost like going in a pointed oval around him, just forward one side and backward the other.
Bill runs forward onto the track to the right of BoCo's train, as Ben comes up to face BoCo. Then while Ben runs off, Bill runs backward past BoCo, and then crosses the points in front of the diesel, as he did first time. The twins repeat this in a cycle a few times until BoCo pleads for them to stop.
3 questions for some RWS stories: 1 - What does the church fete in "Saved from scrap" refer to? (And hasn't Teddy Boston ever saved his Fiery-Elias traction-engine from scrap, too? And does it refer to a church fete somewhere in England, compared to the flags?) 2 - Where in England did Culdee get overhauled, as said in "Mountain Engine" - "He's away back from England after being mended"? 3 - Where in England did the small railway engines come from in "Ballast"? (Barrow, I guess...)
@@terencewilliammckenna6121 I got the information from the Snowdon Mountain Railway website. The Ravenglass and Eskdale railway is still running which is the Small Railway Engines' basis.
how exactly are Bill and Ben moving around when they play their trick? Is it A.just like the TV series but with the twins facing the opposite direction? or B.are they doing it one behind the other and Ben reverses, Bill follows him and blocks BoCo, and then he returns the way he came, and Ben moves forward? I feel like BoCo right now, just thinking about it makes me giddy LOL
The one thing I don't understand is..... This story had Bill and Ben get their nameplates removed to confuse Boco, and Britt allows it to be adapted, yet The Missing Coach gets cancelled because Donald and Douglas swapped their tenders to confuse Fat Controller. I'm only calling out Britt's hypocrisy when she said The Missing Coach would confuse children.
@@newseriesfan Are there ANY references to: 2nd world war event in Wales in "Granpuff", British road revolution and Isle of Mann visitors in "Bulgy", BR railcars' Metro-Cammell company (for Daisy's BR logo) in "Bull's-Eyes", Forty-acre and a mule war in Bahamas in "Ghost train" (as Sam delivers lime to forty-acre field), Paddington's GWR engines in "Duck takes charge", Talyllyn's 1st and 3rd classes in "Skarloey remembers", and Giesl ejector offer on BR (like the Corris railway) in "Special funnel"?
The poor engines always get blamed when In fact it's really their drivers and firemen thst put them up to it. Its those guys that ought to get in trouble at least in this case with bill and Ben. Lol!
My dad use to read these stories to me, this was uploaded on his birthday too.

Like in the style of Ivor the engine?

That's the purpose of their basis. They're supposed to be small for fitting under tight spots.
They were SORT OF that way in the TV series, too.

I kind of see Bill and Ben as Edward's sons, and BoCo is their uncle.

Is the diesel sound at the begining of this video from 0:03 to 0:20 a sound clip of how a class 28 metrovick sounded like?
It sounds like a first generation diesel multiple unit, like Daisy's basis.

Rushton's voice for Boco is similar to Boni from The Trap Door.
I kinda liked George Carlin's voice impression for BoCo better.

Culdee was overhauled in Hunslet in the ‘50s and ‘60s. The Small Railway Engines came from the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.
