It's actually just another filter that's becoming more mainstream in conferencing software (another one makes you always look at camera for instance). I expect more to be baked into other face cam softwares if they haven't already.
I can see this used for online tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons as well. You can have your orc, elf, or dragonborn characters while also using a AI altered voice.
@6:25 Some beauty filters from 5 years ago (snapchat) didn't use AI or ML but simply overlayed a transparent mask and some pixel distortion over the detected face. Deepface also does the same (overlays a mask) but the mask itself is AI generated based on the facial features.
I don't think Deepfacelive is the tool being used for cheek pinching etc. May be an Apple proprietary filter or similar. DF Live doesn't typically work on that level with eating food or again, grabbing portions of the face and having it remain flawless. It may be possible to create a custom trained model where the src face library includes the person doing all those things and it may translate to the finalized model, but I haven't tested that personally (and I've made ~6 dozen models at this point).
In a very long stream the cracks would start to show, but still only subtly. Especially the bottom of the chin and double chin. In a real usage scenario there is connection speed to contend with. Chinese, Japanese, korean, and some Vietnamese cam models already use these, but they mostly use the ones to make them look thinner and lighter skinned in the face.

Could you show us the source of this video? And, is it possible that this guy just record a talking video, process it offline, edit them together, and post it afterward,, to pretend it's "realtime" deepfake?
Those AI image processing tools produce really cool videos. The only thing it misses is the voice processor. When such a pretty girl speaks man voice it looks scary. (uncanny valley)
I'm 2/3rds the way through this video & the qustion I have is who says this isn't a fake demo? I mean we could just take two ppl & record them doing the same thing & then claim it's an AI tool. You might think this would be extremly hard to pull off but not in comparison to the tool being this good in reality. If you look frame by frame you can see the ears for example being occluded on the guy but present on the girl. Also the face angle is off. If AI, why would it choose different angles or to show features that don't from part of the imput reference image?
Interesting how the performance, of these tools, dominishes the greater the difference original and the target images. In most of the examples, presented in this video, the difference between the original and target image is small. Not overly convince thus far, more work is necessary.
The biggest noticeable difference to me is the overall image is dulled and not as clear compared to the original. Especially, the eyes. They're not shiny/reflective anymore.
This is why we need AI to discern who someone is using metrics that collectively are probably at least twenty years from masking sufficiently if someone focuses on them until done. Then AI can be trained to discern the probability that all is natural. How someone speaks, breathing rhythms and heftiness, involuntary body movement patterns. I wouldn't be surprised if these methods of pattern recognition aren't already taught for forensic analysis and identification since decades ago. It's already next to, if not, impossible to hide your location while online if national intel, or anyone with sufficient insiders, are involved. Don't trigger a need to investigate you.
Just so you know, this isn’t a full face swap. This is just a feminization filter. The eyes, nose, yes even teeth, are the same. That’s why the teeth work so well, cause it’s his real teeth. You won’t find the tool he is using because you are searching with the incorrect presumption. Still an interesting video though! 😊
Rather than a deep fake maybe it's an advanced version of those TikTok filter? Two different things. Deep fake has a target you need to transform the input into, while a filter alters the input based on a set of parameters.
I am reminded of something from years ago. Someone with the nick "bigal", I don't remember the full story but that is both "big al" and "bi gal". 😂 With this tech "why not both?"
Besides using this technology for deceptive or lucrative purposes as suggested, it's is also taking RPG and entertainment to a next level blurring the boundaries between the fantasy world and reality, and its not a level playing ground for everyone.. You know there used to be a VR platform called Second Life way back like 15 years ago, where people can take on very realistic avatars of another gender or race or play a child or a flurry and have entire fantasy lifestyles or fantasy islands, even actual businesses and shops, anything the mind can imagine or desire is possible in that space.. However the difference now is that with such deep-faking content and interactions on social media, we don't know what's real anymore.. In a world where truth is a rare commodity, it's making it even harder for those with relational and trust issues to find their rock.. The world of technology changed so much for us in the last two decades, now how are children born into this era of fake-ups and sensational lies going to manoeuvre their way.. Even as a fairly trusting person myself, I've had a total paradigm shift as to everything I see on social media since my first unfortunate exposure to IG.. There are so much deeper issues involved and right now this is the wild wild west
i downloaded this thing on github and extracted the zip file and no program pops up it's just a bunch of files. How do I turn this into a usable program? Sorry I've never used github before.
Is one positive side of this that the market for actors and presenters has opened up to everyone because they no longer need to try to find a particular look from the person they’re hiring. So lots more people can pursue their dream job in media. We just need to crack down on them being used without consent to imitate other people. Pretending to be people that never existed is fine.

If you are thinking of how did he "prompt" so fast ? ... no need, comfyui can integerate LLM directly inside the workflow and describe what it sees and prompt for him every single frame.
What's the name of the tool?
Ayoo bro😂
I wonder how it would react to a mirror being introduced into the scene? If it was unable to process the “real” face and the mirrored image that MIGHT be a way of proving you are who you say you are. If not, well, we’re screwed.
I weep for this generation. My wife and I have been married for multiple decades now and my late 20's boys (4 of them) are going to have a Hell of a time figuring out what's REAL from what's FAKE!
I WEEP for them! YWHW doesn't make mistakes and telling an AI (or a plastic surgeon) what you WANT to look like is not the answer to your self worth! YWHW and His Son YASHEWA ARE! Shalom from TN, USA.
Lol, of course YWHW makes mistakes. Why do you think so many people need glasses? YWHW is down right incompetant.
So this tech could be used to replace the cgi versions of dead or deaged actors in hollywood movies?
I think the Vtubers will have competition, because now showing his face and keeping anonymity is possible in another way.
And yeah please, it would be nice to have a video on how to download these AI, or maybe on how to change your voice and face at the same time
(that's not very complicated but having an example like that could be really cool though)
This takes "dont trust anything you see on the Internet" to the next level.
„Show me your hands“. (Even this) AI can’t handle Hands 😏
TBH cleanest, clearest deepfake I have seen so far - this kind of thing could read the news
so we can never trust any video ever again.
If technology can make this, it can make tech to counter this or detect it.
@@ReiseLukas I wouldn't want my life to depend on that tech though.
@@TheRatlord74 Fair point, but if you had to depend on it you have to make sure you have complete control over it. Lots of this advanced tech unfortunately is controlled by people we don't know and/or trust. If the individual can keep full control of it the same way the individual controls a simple tool like a hammer than I'm all for it.
This tech is only as dangerous as the people controlling it and what they choose to use it for
Affirmative
@@ReiseLukas unfortunately, the most profitable will reign, as human history continues to prove, in every imaginable way, including by this compilation, that AI has and will, evitably inherit the behaviors of both the self serving criminal, as well as the ethical civic minded human
I need help the part where FPS Face detector is not working with me its -3 FPS, what should I do exactly?
Please make the video on setting it up
noted!
Highly Disturbing.... I hate to think of how many ways this could be used in criminal activities.
I went to the link and had no idea about the installation, I'm so fresh about it, need a tutorial bro :(
Yes but can you do it in 4K resolution??? Looks like around 480p at 10 frames a second.
Yes, if you have the hardware for it.
We're in the endgame.
Yet the livestreamer variety is about to go over-the-top, lol.
Not being able to trust what you see online could have a beneficial outcome - it could turn around the trend of retreating from the real world to the online environment into retreating from the online environment back to the real world.
ah, sunshine and fresh air!
The pig butchers are gonna have a field day with this one 🤣
Can I also do this the other way around? I want my image to talk. But in Avatarify it starts looking really weird.. And I don't have the right PC for deepfacelive
for realtime, you can also do it in deepfacelive. see the later part of this ua-cam.com/video/w0Wkhz4G6OA/v-deo.html
for non-realtime, you can use this ua-cam.com/video/rlnjcRP4oVc/v-deo.html
or this ua-cam.com/video/uyjSTAOY7yI/v-deo.html
@theAIsearch OP
Internet Rule #37 - There are no girls on the internet
lol
Could you show us the source of this video?
And, is it possible that this guy just record a talking video, process it offline, edit them together, and post it afterward,, to pretend it's "realtime" deepfake?
Snapchat filter with extra steps
There are no extra steps, it is literally a very good beauty filter, just like the ones from Snapchat or Instagram (but way better)
That’s cool, man, I subscribed. That at 12:06 , can you please figure out that tool - or a similar one - is available for M3 Macs?
I need that I wanna be a GIRLLL!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE MAKE A TUORIAL
lol coming soon!
Lollll
them hands...
What up man, what are the best deep fakes libraries or services if you want to make a non live deep fake with the best quality possible currently?
Very Disturbing.
Install and run tutorial please.
why is there 2 diff camera angles if its using the same image?
predators will troll the net using this
The biggest noticeable difference to me is the overall image is dulled and not as clear compared to the original.
FBI started using two-three years ago to scan crowds for predictive criminal behavior. Matrix here
Just so you know, this isn’t a full face swap.
With this tech "why not both?"
I was unable to get any of these tools to run on my compute. I have a ryzen 9 with 128GB-ram.
It would be nice if the installers were more robust.
Is there anything that does full head replacement? Swap an entire head with different hair style?
Thanks for sharing. I haven't heard of Second Life and will have to look it up.
Can we use AI to prevent eating noises and people talking/chewing with their mouths open? Asking for science.
Extremely critical for societies at how fast we are entering an era where everything the new generation will now question everything 🍃
Please do tutorial on how to install.
i downloaded this thing on github and extracted the zip file and no program pops up it's just a bunch of files. How do I turn this into a usable program? Sorry I've never used github before.
Hasn’t Snapchat had this for three years - making you look like an old person or a young person?
Is one positive side of this that the market for actors and presenters has opened up to everyone because they no longer need to try to find a particular look from the person they’re hiring. So lots more people can pursue their dream job in media.
We just need to crack down on them being used without consent to imitate other people. Pretending to be people that never existed is fine.
hi. could you make the tutorial??
The only giveaway is the edge of the hair blurs in and out and here is a bit of glitching or edge shimmering.
