I hope people watching this from outside the sport realise just how superman it is to remember every inch of 37 mile lap, and to have the concentration to manage the changing and unknown conditions for up to six laps, racing inch-perfect with the penalty for making a mistake certain death* *unless you're able to go around a tree on lap one
@BongoBaggins absolutely. Also, I'm trying to help people understand the nature of the time trial race. They race against the clock, which is actually more intense because they don't need to pass their competitors. At first it seems that would be less difficult but think about it: you have to be going full beans the entire race.

Shame what happened to Hutchy with that crash, never been the same since, still though, first ever to win all five in a week, legendary week.
