I never imagined I'd be shipped this exact piece brand new from an interior designer, to make over for a newly designed room. so we're going to redo a brand new piece of furniture to get a one of a kind custom furniture piece using a soft neutral paint blend and bold floral transfers. I started @ 2016 as a stay at home mom, with furniture that was left behind at a rental we owned. A customer encouraged me to start sharing my work on social media and at the tome not many were sharing. I got picked up by a brand and led their social media team for 5 years. That ended badly and since I've been making social media using a variety of brands

Of course I Love your color choices & transfers, but a lot of dings in actual piece. Some dings and raised spots that my OCD just couldn’t let go of!! I wanted to putty and sand, especially with light color in center?!! The piece is Beautiful❤ How does a creative person-myself-let go of that? I think I just need to do a sloppy mess and live with it!! Me, not you. How do I get over that ding dang hump? Any suggestions would be Great & Grateful!!🌸💫🌸
That was part of the original finish, a distressed look. The owner chose it and I didn't want to change it. Dancing could have also exposed MDF underneath which would cause a heap of other issues, so the original manufacturers texture stayed. I don't think you have to compromise quality of work, even messy looks can be done in a refined way
