La voce di Pavarotti è straordinaria, ma non riesce ad emozionarmi come quella di MdM quando è in forma.

Grato. Foi ouvindo Mario del Monaco, em uma precária vitrola na casa dos meus pais, cantar "Esultate", "Dio mi potevi..." e "Niun ni tema" que me apaixonei pela ópera.
Cuando dice " Minnie!" Por segunda vez...solo por eso busco esta versión.

I would not say better in a. Overall sense,he is a dramatic tenor,corelli was a spinto,both were great,that said i agree with you,he is my favourite of the two,but corelli is also great

Yes, it's remarkable how similar their renditions are. Giacomini is the only tenor of the last fifty years who can compare with Del Monaco.

@@petertariska7664 I know, and after hearing both MDM and giacomini MDM sounds better for me in general in every respect for me, and there really shouldn't be a difference in stage or concert version.

Ma che calante....questa è una incisione ufficiale Decca presente ancora oggi in catalogo ed è tecnicamente tra le migliori se non la migliore.......aggiornate i vostri sistemi di ascolto e poi potrete dare la vostra opinione....
