Hindsight is always 20/20. While it’s happening, it’s almost like things take place in a way that makes everyone close to the individual forget about the religious things that could have helped. Similar situation with my aunt many years ago. There were several spiritual experiences that happened to her before the car accident that took her life and she told her sisters (my mom and other aunt) about it but it’s as if the spirits make sure that you’ll forget to even have the thought of jingle bells come across your mind to suggest to her.
