Thanks for watching!
i imagine theres some lucky folks who use these to tow their GT3s to the track. ultimate Porsche garage
Seen a photo of a Cayenne Coupe Turbo towing a GT3 !
Went on a roadtrip in June. On the way back I saw 2 Cayenne’s towing GT3’s in Wisconsin on the same day.
as an owner of a 2014 cayenne S, i can say im glad its back to a v8
i recently acquired it from my stepdad with 140000 miles. he did not take care of it at all 🤣, but it still runs relatively well
@@slocarfr hows the maintenance?
tubedude92 its actually really reliable, but expensive. we just had a $5k maintenance job done, consisting of fluid changes vacuum pump replacement and a few others, most of which you can do yourself
@@slocarfr thanks for the reply! how often does this maintenance needs to be done?
@tubedude92 its pretty much what you would expect from most cars, oil change every 5-7k miles, full service every 10-15k, etc
I sat in one yesterday, and I loved it
How does it compare to a Toyota? I'm undecided which to buy . I don't want to look cheap in the Porsche
😂😂😂
🤣🤣👍🏽
120k car without HUD😮 very strange specs
More towards track handling
@@ag6371That's just silly
Everything is an add on with porsche
Absolutely gem of a car
It's such an elegant car
most porsches are. a dream of mine but most probably will never ever happen
@@tobiaseaton200you will get there bro. I have the luxury of driving this car daily-ish because my parents have this vehicle but I want to buy my dream car myself without any support from anyone else just like my parents. We will get there bro
@@tobiaseaton200not with that mentality!
lol 😂
If you’re into glorified Subarus. Sure
Anyone remember the days when a suv use to be classified as Fing huge. Now these tiny babies are called SUV’s 😂
Wait... Was it truly launch control? I'm not seeing the Sport Chrono clock. 😁
Does anyone actually change the gauge cluster brightness frequently? I feel like I adjusted mine when I bought my car and haven't touched it in the eight years since
I typically adjust mine on road trips, especially roads where wildlife is likely to appear. Other times I might be parked on "makeout" mountain lol.
You don't have to adjust it in most of the newer cars - it happens automatically based on exterior lighting sensor.
If y’all ever get the time on one of your trips to Atl, come try out my Baja built 958 Cayenne
{SIGH} 🥹 I've watched this video so many times while waiting for my car build 🥹
Carrera Metallic White with
Red & black interior.
It’s FINALLY here!! 🎉
Congratulations! I’m still waiting for my cayenne to arrive (17 months 😢)
Even porsche started to make fully electronic gauges :( (not countin' taycan)
Also, the previous chime was better
Audio system needs more bass imo, but idk how speakers sound irl
Still a good car tho
New camera setup for this video? I feel like I noticed a slightly wider field of view, which I prefer.
The headlights cut-off line bothers me.
Finally he talks lmao the Z4 drive was more quiet than normal 🤣🤣 Edit: Ofc in Porsche fashion you can barely even see the engine with all that dumb plastic in the front engine as well 🤦♂
at least it's easy to take off
I'm going to miss mechanical gear selectors and e-brakes. Pushing buttons is just not satisfying to me.
Cant adjust guage cluster brightness. That's a deal breaker- in my fantasy world of actually being able to afford one. 13:01
Really shitty and bizarre. Would be impossible to deal with.
Audi has a similar problem, the lowest brightness is still very bright. It's bizarre considering lots of economy cars can achieve very low display brightness, and Cadillac even has the Saab-style night display.
wonderful. this one would be my future car.
Awesome for sure when new. An absolute electronic MONEY PIT once warranty expires.
Tell me you’ve never owned one without saying it out loud
lol no one “buying” this new is 1) actually buying it, they are all leases and 2) if someone, likely an LLC, did buy it new, it’s cause they wanna depr the entire vehicle year 1, since it’s over 6k gvwr, they aren’t keeping it more than 3 years. These are problems for the 2nd and 3rd owners
I've owned my 2020 for 4 years. Its been more reliable than my Jeep. Needs nothing but gas and an annual oil change.
Why? What do you have to back up the absolute statement?
@@jz3430jeeps aren’t reliable at all lmao
Porsche just keep getting better
23K in options? wow. Trying to figure out why a Porsche owner wouldn't buy a low mileage pre facelift cayenne and a cayman instead haha
23k in options is cheap for a porsche
Very informative video - more night driving please!
I like the car and the lights 😊
2-3 year old examples can be had for $60k with 30k miles. So much car for the money.
Only lease, never buy
Love that Harley at the end
Porsche need to improve their ambient lighting game
Word
Damn Chris has the best damn job… certainly earned though…. Winding road essentially created the pov drive review on UA-cam…
How does this Cayenne S compare to the Audi SQ7 SQ8? Similar platform but they have more power for less $$?
a lot of creaks and rattles in this interior. Freaking annoying to hear in such an expensive vehicle. You can hear the creaks when wearing headphones
No ambient lighting? Fail
Looks better than my 2023😮
Sleek design, great performance
Greetings, what's the name of that tune you always pay when demonstrating the stereo?
This review is lit, ❤🔥 Someone like this in 2028,
It just needs more ambient lighting
I think Porsche avoids having anything that could look tacky or extravagant. Audi would probably have better interior lighting.
@@faeinthebay it does not. Look on Panamera. They just fked up with Cayenne.
what music is that?
Why they don’t have ambient lighting around the car
so the s or gts?
新款不好看了,越来越矮,缺乏威严霸气的味道了。
Kinda sounds like the Hyundai Kia genesis turn signal
very well explained every thing nice...
is this EA825?? used on E3 GTS?
Would this be (in your opinion) a better daily driver over the Lexus gx550?
Yes
Yessir! Drop everything you are doing!
There is no substitute!
❤❤❤
Honestly, get an X5 for literally 10’s of thousands of dollars less - it’s gonna be slightly more reliable, better looking, return better MPG, be quicker, and has 3 years of complementary maintenance. It drives very similar, and if you’re not gonna be tracking your SUV. If you want a real Porsche get a 911, 718, or Taycan
I absolutely love BMW but after driving a bunch of modern BMWs and Porsches, I am disappointed in how numb the BMWs drive - even the M competition models. There is a real lack of driver feedback whereas Porsche maintains that lovely mechanical feel with every input. The BMW feels like a video arcade controller in comparison. That’s not even mentioning that the Porsche suspension and handling are a level above. Now does that mean Porsche is worth the extra price? Not necessarily. Value for $ is with BMW 100%. I’m just saying if you want the best driver’s vehicle and can afford it, Porsche does deliver better than arguably any other brand.
@@trevorphillips3922 I’m not saying BMW is the best driving - I’m saying if you’re buying a luxury German SUV, there is no reason to get THIS over an X5. People are not tracking their SUV’s, these are primarily soccer moms going to sports and school. A 911 or 718 is always going to be better than a M3 or M4, no doubt, my point is in the SUV market the X5 is a much better buy
I hear you for sure. But some people just want one vehicle to do it all, with practicality but also as much sports car feel as possible.
Get the sq7
It’s nice man
Wish I had one
Jeez what a car
This is be the right model Cayenne for me. Higher trims would only result in suspension of my license.
I’m a diehard Porsche fan but I don’t love this refreshed Cayenne. Too many screens and the light bar on the back just looks off to me.
yeah i think this might be it bros. the grail car for me.
Porsche truly makes beautiful cars. Their interiors are unmatched when you compare it with other cars, it's so unique.
Just say this! Drive German u don't want to move back to japanese ( not counting on Volwagon) no more japanese forever.
Happy wife happy life
Please pro test mercedes amg A45s ❤❤❤
too many real porsches out there to ever consider this
