- This all seems like a bad dream. None of this seems real. I love you Daddy, so so much. I'm so sorry. I tried so hard to be there for you. Please be at peace now and rest forever without pain. and I hope that talking about it all will bring some comfort to someone out there going through the same thing with someone they love. All you can do is your best because there's no right way to say goodbye.
