I remember hearing somewhere that he was originally a bigman at the youth level because he was always the biggest guy and it was only in middle school when he started to develop as a guard. I think that is probably contributing to his general lack of creativity on the ball.
I mentioned it on the last draft vid but his block against MICHSt. where he meets a big at the catch on a lob, was hoping it make the cut. Great video as always Keandre. Can’t wait to hear you on all the pods closer to draft time.
his 3pt shot has fallen off a bit since this video was made but i think your point about it still stands. the FT shooting is a little concerning to me though.. i don't know if i buy him as much more than a C&S guy. the defense is real though. great video
Oh I love his game he’s probably more that combo connector guard with the smart but not flashy passing, he kinda looks like Lonzo with burst and more explosion that’s a valuable nba player
I agree, and think he can be an even better version of him. Right now melton is a borderline elite bench player, but I think cason can become an elite starter. Not quite allstar level, but a guy who can be a starter on any team
Let me ask you this: do you think Wallace should start at the lead guard for UK over Wheeler? Or should Wheeler? Or, do you think, they should start together? If you say yes to the last one, which one should start at the one in your opinion? Keep in mind UK doesn’t have 3rd true point guard so if you start both Wheeler and Wallace substitution patterns get complicated.
Doesn't quite have the shot creation or passing of Jrue, although he looks like a lot better shooter. I also don't know how good Jrue was as a prospect so the potential could be there for wallace.
Nah they aren't. Do you understand that college ball and NBA ball are completely different. In college you got to be a team player. In the NBA it's the same but if you don't preform to your strengths you won't survive in the league. Why do you think top prospects only average 15+ points? Then the elite prospects average above 18 points. Emoni don't count as elite cause his conference is weak. Like chet holmgren weak conference means easier points
@@ZayK-WithDaDraco I'm confident in my top 18. Keyonte and Cason are the next tier down imo. Things could change if they figure it out. But as of right now I have them both going anywhere from 19 to the early second round. Just a bit lower than the consensus.
@@ZayK-WithDaDraco I thought the same thing until I actually made my own recent big board. Not saying they can't figure it out though. But neither have put it all together yet. I'd rather have Gradey Dick, Jett Howard, Kyle Filipowski, Taylor Hendricks, Jarace Walker, Maxwell Lewis to name a few non obvious players that I'd take a tier before them. Oh yeah and Emoni Bates has more upside than either one of those guys. Arkansas' backcourt is better than Keyonte and Cason too. They might make the lottery, but it's no shoe-in. We can agree to disagree though... I'll be the crazy one here. Or maybe I'm just saying it before most.
@@norrinradd542 Hendricks, walker and Maxwell is not better than them. But jett Howard is arguable due to his size and pg13 play style but his defense is iffy. Kyle is the only player I would take above them if they go past pick 10-14. Dick is a lottery lock to me. But I have keyonte at 8 and Cason at 10-11.
absolutely love this pick for OKC
Love the "vlogmas" here. We appreciate the dedication 🙏
Appreciate you guys for supporting!

Cason seems like a next jrue holiday turn then defensive stops to offensive ima look more into him
Looks like a guy the Raps could really develop into a special player.
He would fit our style really well.
We need a guy this like this.
Man
Choketors fans everywhere

One of the best guards in this next draft,
Steal of the Draft bro, this kid is gonna be fucking good he’s pro ready
These videos are so good!!

Saw in NBA Mock Draft 2024, he goin to the Warriors, tho it's still mock draft, he fits the Warriors system.
Song at 5:40?
OKC⚡️
Reminds me of Gary Payton II in college

Gives me de'Anthony melton vibes
Exactly what I was thinking !!

Take a look also ricky council from arkanzas
I want the Mavs to grab him some how

Hell yeah would love for him to fall to the heat fits the culture and the last two Kentucky products the Heat drafted have been pretty good
Raptors
Start, bench, cut. Tyrese proctor, terquavion smith, or cason wallace?
the spurs can have him
Just watch his hips on that entire play @2:20
Man we got TyTy but I still want Wallace 😲🚀🔥 and he’s from Texas!!!
He's perfect for the Pelicans
yup I was thinking the same thing. him n Zion look like they might fit well together.
Marcus smart
Jrue Holiday 2.0

Marcus Smart 🤔
This is a laker..
i hate that that UK starting lineup. cason has no space to work
future wizard inshallah
y'all have so many issues on that team
As much as I like this kid, him and Keyonte are rated too high atm.
