@@gangoffour6690 Do you have hard data supporting your thought or just a hunch? Because I believe just the opposite. The F-117 sacrificed a lot of maneuverability in favor of stealth, at levels never seen before or after. You might argue that the B-2 and the F-22 are stealthier overall in a wider range of frequencies, but I think that the front aspect of the F-117 is still unmatched.
I wonder how many ARVs Ben Rich really designed, built and test flew? They have been to other galaxies not just other star systems, he said they were 50 years ahead of anyone else! Its probably more like 100 years. An amazing engineer just like Kelly and Sergej Koroljov in the Sovietunion. They mastered gravity control by 1954 from the stolen Nazi flying saucers. They also built time machines. What a time to be alive, the projects were beyond imagination for most people.
I love the video of Rich outline his be quick, quiet, and on time lecture. First time I've ever seen it and I've been looking for and video of him for years. Is there a complete copy of that gathering somewhere?
Too many egos involved in Aerospace now and WAY too much red tape for the caliber of innovations Rich's teams produced to be done today. Clearly someone is still flying Johnson and Rich's vehicles around F-18s, I just can't seem to find who. Building WEAVs is extremely simple. Easier than building a Trent engine. I'd take a team of those techs and engineers over these egotistical "academic experts" in aerospace ANY DAY of the week. Funny how some boomers with a slide rule made better tech than my generation will ever discover (millennials/gen z). We're still using rockets and celebrating SpaceX for being able to reuse it LOL It would be nice to see what came of the BLACKSTAR, XOV, AURORA, ASTRA, and SENTINEL days...surely more than the HTV-X or AJAX.
