Using an equalizer to remove fart sounds would not be optimal. Whilst a fart may contain a peak frequency / frequencies within the range of 100hz - 1khz, it, like most recorded audio aside from pure tones (sine waves), would be complex and hold data across a large range of frequency values over the length of the fart. Because of this, using a parametric EQ with an extremely narrow Q to isolate and remove the fart's peak frequency in a section of audio, (like in a dialog recording perhaps), would only remove a small part of the fart and not the entire fart signal. This might work for squeaky or pitchy farts, but it won't for a thunderous king ass ripper fart. You could also try multiple bands with narrow Qs or a single broad Q, either way the results will be unsatisfactory. Using phase inversion is an extremely effective way of eliminating unwanted sound from an audio recording. Unfortunately, this would be impossible in the case of removing a fart, because you would need to record the fart you performed prior over dialog in the EXACT same way, isolated. Both signals must be completely identical or else you will receive artifacts. I would recommend using some kind of spectral editor to isolate and remove the fart sound. Maybe someone will create a custom fart remover. I would petition the idea to Zynaptiq audio, they created a world cup horn suppressor recently.
Had that same procedure done 2 months ago. The worst part was when the probe passes through the prostate. I actually yelled at the Dr "WHAT THE FUCK DID I EVER DO TO YOU"? Because they lied and said this is no big deal before when I asked about any discomfort.. After that, you have to pee out all of the liquids that is pumped up your pee hole during this fun experience. I went to pee and I saw about 6or 7 red chunks in the toilet bowl. I called in the nurse that had the privilege of numbing me and she said that is what was scraped off of your prostate that is normal. Hope you never have to deal with that.
I have IC and I had a cystoscopy. I am a lady. They swore up and down it does not hurt and I knew they were wrong. The discomfort was so overwhelming and constant. My vaginal ultrasound for my ovarian cyst which had closed off my urethra from swelling- and I almost asked for a catheter for- was more comfortable. They had to press into everything to get pictures but they were gentle as possible and it was intermittently relieved. I had to not look at the screen to make it bearable. At least it only takes a few minutes. When they took the camera out water went everywhere and the instant they filled my bladder it was irritated, and they found nothing they could fix and reported that it was healthy, just very irritable. I was gritting my teeth on the way home. Thing is I have to have medicine put in my bladder if it gets worse which is basically the same thing. My IC is doing really good though, I love my urologist. I don't have to take medication but I have a lot of stuff I shouldn't eat and I know what to do to calm it down.
