I don’t know how you do it. Amazing.
Fantastic !! The third video I’ve watched and not seen any cobblers break a shoe down to such a basic form to rebuild it to such high finish
Excellent work congratulations, he reminded me of my grandfather, he was also dedicated to the same, this job must always exist, greetings from Barcelona Spain
There is a lot of restoration channels on UA-cam. Really appreciate your hard work.
I don't often leave comments, but what an outstanding restoration! Absolutely hypnotic, watching a craftsman at work restores one's belief in the balance of good things in this world!
WOW SO DETAILED, WONDERFUL TECHNIQUES. 👍👍👍
Wow what a fantastic job real professional, well done if only we had a few good cobblers here in South Africa
My, but this customer presented many issues to be corrected, especially the cracking and splits! I like the way the lacing eyelets were repaired, as well as the back stay. Real, two eyelet, chukka boots have that classic look and appeal. Congratulations on another fine video. DJ in Knoxville TN
I love to watch an artist at work.
A great repair really well done 👏 crocket and jones make excellent shoes !
Sir your shoe repairing skills are absolutely amazing. On par with the bigger channels like Bedo's leatherworks, Trenton & Heath, Tring Shoe Repairs.
I think maybe with a bit better thumbnails/editing you can have that many subscribers too in a relatively short time.
Excellent! loved it! so soothing watching a master at work!
Incredible transformation! Shows what a well made pair of shoes with excellent quality leathers can withstand! A skilled cobbler certainly helps too! Keep the great videos coming!
Great job. A shame this uppers hadn’t been shown more love before.
Insane job! I can never get the repair cream for scratches and dents correct, you are definitely a master
The best shoe repair on UA-cam
You have exceptional skill which is enviable. I have an obsession for high quality shoes , and enjoyed watching your exceptional skills at work. I need to buy that shoes by the way.
Beautiful job! The owner chose wisely to forego the full re-color. There’s only so much a cobbler can do to mitigate those cracks and tears in the uppers. Putting a fresh coat of paint would be equivalent of putting makeup on a pig. No, these came out perfect as is. Perfect for off duty or harsh situations while maintaining the style and aesthetic of the wardrobe. A perfect beater boot with another 1K miles in the tank!
Brilliant workmanship. 🏴👍🏻❤️
Amazing Craftmanship!
Wow. Excellent & well-crafted
I love those shoes and your restoration.
Astonishing work and art my friend.
Awesome restoration 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
This is superb work. Are you an authorised repair centre then, since you have access to the branded socks?
Congratulations! Voce e 10. Muito bom seu trabalho precisamos de um PROFISSIONAL que nem voce por aqui no Brazil pra fazer essas renovaçoes. Amei seu trabalho maravilhoso. To inscrita no seu canal mande mais videos.

Bloody great job
Yes did an Excellent Job my friend
Simply WOW! Amazing 👏🏻!!!
great job!
You’re a magician!
Great job
Great video! I would like to try to glue, bone and sand cracks in my leather shoes. Could you please advise what kind of glue and what grit sand paper I should use?
Unfortunatley there are no easy answers to that. I use 5 different adhesives and fillers depending on the location and deapth of the crack or scuffmark. And I use a bunch of different grit sand papers. You really need to know what you're doing if you are gonna do an upper restoration. I can only recommend that you let a good cobbler do it for you.
Nice Job ! 🙂
Awesome great work 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
amazing job! well done
For a boot that wrecked, I’m surprised the gemming was in such good shape. I guess it’s water that must be gemmings nemesis? Good work!
The gemming on C&J's are often in great shape. Crockett & Jones make amazing shoes and boots. The only downside is that they are so well made, they are a pain in the ass to take apart.
It's those eyelets that scare me the most, damage like that is hard to repair. Any tips to wear those areas less?
How come you dont make a trench on the outsole before you stitch the sole?
Hi. I usually try to make the repairs look as close to the original as possible. Original Dainite soles are never grooved before stitching. It is not really needed. The thread is often "pulled down" enough to make the stitches hold up a long time. And when they eventually are worn down, the repair holds up anyway, since they are properly glued, and the thread is waxed.
Also, if you were to groove the rubber there is a chance that the thread would tear through the sole and destroying it. Safer this way and more pretty. That said, there are situations where I groove rubber. You have to judge every job independently, and account for a number of factors.

Dude! You just sanded the uppers!
Excellent !!
Good video
Best repair

Bravo!!!
🤩🤩🥰👍👍👏
Красота!
Mycket fint arbete!
Now I know I can abuse my own Tetbury boots, and get away with it!!
Were these just super neglected or very old? I have shoes and boots that are over a decade old that are in much better shape.
great vid but if i may you should always add the cost of such repairs
If someone watches the video in two years the price will be different. Could be misleading. This one landed on ca: 350€ I think.
Nice planet ocean
