I know a lot of people remember the scene of Hodaka's struggle to save Hina. Me too. But the thing that really struck (and still hit) me personally and emotionally is the scene in the hotel, when Hodaka prayed to God not give him anything more, just not to take anything away - that he was already happy and content that time. . What makes it really emotional is the fact we probably have already experienced it - fleeting happiness.
I remember the day I went on a date with a girl to watch this film. I had planned out to confess during the film, but did not know when it would be the correct moment. Well, just at the end of the film, when there was that nostalgic music, I said, "there's something more". She answers with "what" and I said I liked her. She said she liked me back :). It was literally the best moment to say it. I found it really romantic and will never forget it. Sadly, we're not together anymore because of covid and long term relationship. I miss her.

I know a lot of people remember the scene of Hodaka's struggle to save Hina. Me too.
But the thing that really struck (and still hit) me personally and emotionally is the scene in the hotel, when Hodaka prayed to God not give him anything more, just not to take anything away - that he was already happy and content that time.

What makes it really emotional is the fact we probably have already experienced it - fleeting happiness.

I remember the day I went on a date with a girl to watch this film. I had planned out to confess during the film, but did not know when it would be the correct moment. Well, just at the end of the film, when there was that nostalgic music, I said, "there's something more". She answers with "what" and I said I liked her. She said she liked me back :). It was literally the best moment to say it. I found it really romantic and will never forget it. Sadly, we're not together anymore because of covid and long term relationship.

本家では「愛にできることはまだあるかい」から始まるけど、この人の演奏ではその次の「なにも持たずに」から始まる。僕個人的には凄くそれが良い。なんか最初のあそこを弾くとき、ピアノだとなんか違和感ある。だからそこはあえて弾かずに「なに持たずに」の落ち着いたスタートのこの動画は凄く良い。
完全に好みの問題ですよね笑
