What about your tab a8 (from your video 3y ago)?does it still work well? Which one do you find more convenient for a student?
The A8 (2019 model) is outdated already in terms of software because the support from Samsung already ended. I personally prefer this A9 because of the latest software, the downside is that it doesn't have an SPen feature, only the S9 and FE series have SPen which is more expensive than the A series. But overall, both tablets are still great for students on a budget like viewing files, digital note-taking, and digital art.

i dont think tabs that dont have native S-pen support have palm rejection.

How about dex mode?
No dex mode on tab a9 lite. Dex mode is only available on Tab A9 Plus and the tab S9 series.
i feel like regetting buying the a8 when i could have waited for the a9 🥴 great tablet though! but a8 is starting to age already and i don't feel so nice about it
I've got a stylish pen like yours and it doesn't work very well on my phone
the pen is capacitive, doesn't have a palm rejection. i hope you can maximise your pen with your phone, it's still a good alternative.😊✨️

No, this didn't come with an spen. Only the S Tab series like Tab S9 FE and up have spens
