Personally I thought Ross' contributions were pretty well represented, Weighs Me Down is one of my favorites, and I thought Walking on Water wouldn't have been out of place on his solo record. I'm a sucker for this kind of music. My favorites were Neal Morse's double punch of Right Where You Should Be and The Weary One.
I really liked julia from there debut but didn't rate the rest, so i don't think this new album would interest me, same with the last neal album, really liked the HELL SONG but nothing more.
Mama is my least favourite song of 2023 haha The album is perfectly "fine", but I don't think a third album from this trio is either needed or wanted I'll be honest!
It is wanted/needed from some of us! 😉 I know I’m probably higher on this one than most, since it has been one that I’ve been able to share equally with Jana and it is a special album for us, but I get why it might not move the needle for those more inclined towards the participants’ proggier material…
