I have always enjoyed y'alls "quality" far more than I have sought out quantity from this channel. The work you do is top notch and more than anything else it very inspiring! I rarely fly fish (it interest me a lot) but you have helped boost the desire to fish outside of my comfort zones and styles. Your work has helped me see that I can "catch experiences" even if the fish aren't biting. Keep on grinding guys!!!
Aw, thanks so much Nathan! Thats amazing to hear. Keep at it and keep in touch! Fishing/fly fishing isn't everything. It's just a really fun vehicle to have experiences in nature, and I think fly fishing (if you want it to) can be an even more intimate experience.
I’ve fished that little So Utah creek many times! Those are my stomping grounds. I just came into your channel from Overland Journal’s newsletter and you’re a filmmaking genius. Looking forward to catching up on the older content. Also, I really appreciated the comments and insight on finances from the channel and how your guys manage in that regard. NOBODY talks about this and it drives me nuts!
Agree. I always wonder watching these UA-cam "stars" how do they do it? But for everyone you see making a living at it there must be dozens of other failed attempts. Do what you can when you can. It's a cool idea and great content.
Your content gives me an escape from work life and renews my love for nature/fishing. I can only imagine the amount of work you guys put in, and wish you nothing nothing but success and good times in the future. Excited to see your upcoming content!
I know you mention the slow pace of production - but the quality…man this stuff is incredible. I’ve been watching UA-cam for 10+ years, everything from MKHB or Hot Ones who have serious high quality and iPhone selfie quality from just a guy fishing. You guys are on the super high end. It’s AMAZING. Hopefully you’ll blow up big at some point because this is freaking amazing.
Enjoying your series For Wild's Sake so very much. So very well made from the pacing and to the color grading and everythingin betweenl. And well, the content is just so inspiring and captivating. I am so pleased that you have created a Patreon for those who want to help support your channel.
Thanks for the candid update. Happy you guys launched a Patreon and hope it eases the way a bit. Keep on groovin’ and much appreciation for the joy your videos bring us. Glad you’re on the mend, Chase… 💪🏼
Honestly guys I am so happy to wait for as long as it takes. your content is second to none, and quality of your work is incredible! I’m inspired every time I watch something you guys make 😍
I wish the algorithm was kinder to you guys. You guys are well deserving of 7 figure subs. It seems like you have to create content on a weekly basis and have constant engagement to make it work for you. Love the content!
For Wild Sake is hands down the best quality content on UA-cam. Take your time and get it right! Thank you for the education and for taking us on these trips with you! ❤️
The most finely crafted, well researched, FF vlog in this medium. recommended to all well-heeled aficionados, exploring the online fishing-verse: You Can Make A Difference!
Thanks for the update! Glad to hear you are feeling better. Looking forward to any content you all can provide in your time. You all are so talented, and your videos (and music content) are so great and inspiring. Always look forward to seeing your work. God bless you.
Just grateful you’re doing better, bud. I skip through almost everyone else’s fly fishing videos except yours! Enjoy every second of all of them! There’s some great fly-film makers in South America and Europe and New Zealand, but I think you’re my favorite to follow here in the states. Love me some wild fly (nice hat), hardman adventures, and Allegheny native films too! Tight lines and God bless. :)
Love the videos guys, take your time, I got plenty of other fishing videos to watch while i wait, i prefer you taking time to make sure they are good rather than rush it
Hey just wanted to thank you for your authenticity and story. Every chance we get to watch your videos is a treat! Happy you started a patreon! Excited to be able to support creators that bring us so much joy! Sending our best from both Brit and Andy! ps. flyfishing season west of the Cascades opens up here in Oregon this week. If you're ever up here and need a good basecampe for adventures let us know!
Take your time. So many other channels just pump out content and the quality suffers. Seeing one of your videos pop up is something that I genuinely look forward to because I know the quality and story will be there.
So happy you are back and feeling better! Love your stuff - I'm def a TightLoops Groupie - and a student of your trips, video work, editing, narration ... Glad to wait for more at your pace. Heading to Patreon now. All the best to you both!
Thank you for all your hard work and creativity over the years. I know this takes a lot of time. My favorite was the brood X hatch that you covered in Garret County Md. That’s home to me. Honestly though everything been great in its own respect and topic. Stay safe and thanks for the channel.
Badass little creek your fishing there last time me and the wife fished it some one caught a shit load of them out of there you could see where they cleaned them gald to see there some still in there.
Ah, thats a shame. Does Utah not have a limit on those fish? Either way, I think the population is doing pretty well. It would be hard for one person/group to put any meaningful dent in them. So much good habitat as well! You can probably only access a 10th of the fish in there with a rod. Cool place!
*Hey guys! Long time no see! Thanks for all the comments and support welcoming us back. Don't forget to check out our Patreon if you haven't already:* patreon.com/tightloopsfly *NEW EPISODE IS LIVE!* ua-cam.com/video/DXAqRkfLYgI/v-deo.html&ab_channel=TightLoops
I have been watching your content for the last few years and have really enjoyed it. Your art is also amazing! I just moved to Southern Utah and I am curious where this was. There are a lot of different areas of Southern Utah and I am just curious if it is in my neck of the woods. I am in Cedar City. There is also a Utah Cutthroat Slam I have completed and will be completing a second and third time in June. Pretty excited! On that small of a stream that is a lot of work catching them! Kudos and cheers!
@@TightLoops we live on the salmon river. The Snke river is behind us. In late summer there is a big hopper hatch and fly fishing on the Snake. Most folks have no idea. Would be a hike in trip with incredible Hells canyon views.
Absolutely would join the Patreon. I think you guys are drastically underrated and want to keep seeing the content flowing. Monetary funds help with continued perseverance!
Wow just found your channel and you draw amazing just wow!!!! I will def buy a print and show support!!! Try the UA-cam membership as well I just opened up one it’s like patroon but through UA-cam. Really enjoyed this video! 🤙
love your work. although i'm not much of an artist, i think it's cool that you show the illustrations. if you're looking for a short video to put out while doing your paid gigs, i would love to see the recipe for those delicious looking tacos!
Honestly I love the pace you guys have been setting. I would much rather have really solid episodes every now and then, Vs slapped together ones on the daily
Yeah it was certainly on the tip of a lot of doctors tongues at the time. I never got a positive Covid test, but I got sick several times early in the pandemic before testing was readily available and am pretty sure I had it (loss of taste and smell etc) but we won’t know for sure. Took an antibody test six months later which isn’t very helpful. I also took the first two rounds of the Pfeizer vaccine not too long before this all started so we can’t rule out vaccine injury either. In the end it’s a really frustrating mystery, but I’m lucky to say I’m on the other end of it now with seemingly little no lasting effects. Other than being acutely aware now of just how hard life can be for folks with chronic illness. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.
I don’t fish but I watch your films the moment they drop. They are as beautiful as your illustrations, legacy work so take all the time you need but maybe update us now and then?
Consider also filming other aspects of your voyage. For example, filming techniques and editing, or at least some parts of it, particularly how you are doing it on the go. Certainly many could learn from that. And perhaps a single-pay donation method. Not sure I want to commit to monthly payments.
Your health Issue sounds like what my son was going through, brain fog, no energy etc. My neighbor had it also really bad also. It a real thing. The quality of work that you do is going to takes a lot longer than spitting out weekly videos. Keep up the good works.
Yeah it was brutal. We (including all our doctors) were convinced it was Covid/long Covid, But I was tested a gazillion times and was always negative. Weird for someone young and in otherwise good health to have such a chronic issue like that. C'est la vie, I guess.
Literally live in the town less than 5 minutes from that stream. No need to share the name, we both know where you were😉 very strange and surreal feeling seeing a stranger from the internet fish a true southern utah gem that most locals don’t know about.
Your videos are so professional, inspirational and amazing. I’ve signed up for patreon and I hope your channel watchers do the same. All the best for 2023 in health, prosperity and travels.
Thanks so much, Greg! We really appreciate the patronage and support! Make sure to look back through our posts on Patreon because there’s some exclusive content on there for ya!
$200/mth is fuel money for the whole mont. That's like rent for nomads. If you're taking that long to film an episode, you're the problem. You aren't showing anything in your videos that should take that long. Then there is your title.... it didn't have anything to do with this childish video. You aren't making quality content. That's why it's not working the way you think it should.
Have you watched literally anything we’ve made before? Also, I don’t know what country you’re living in, but $200 is currently a tank and a half of gas in our truck.

Agree with the quality over quantity.

I just cried. Thank you.
Haha, we're back baby!
Love your content, if you are ever in Idaho, we have room for guest and a shop for work on the rig, and fishing.
Thanks Michael! Love Idaho. We've got some Idaho content later in the series when fished for Westslopes. Can't wait to go back!

That opening shot with the rising trout…wow
So glad your back. I had to ask bound for nowhere what happened.
Awesome production keep it going.

Passion projects! Agree with other comments -quality over quantity makes it worth the wait.
I love your work guys and I tried to support your channel by purchasing some clothes but they don’t ship to Australia.🤦♂️

Life is often time versus money. Most people have one or the other, rarely both.
So true. But one can dream, right?

Very misleading
