I would love to see you try on these 3 lipsticks to get an idea of what they all look like on.
On the day they launched I purchased ten(10) without seeing in person or trying. They are Hermès so I had every reason to believe they would sell out and take a bit to restock. Full confession:I am a lipstick addict ( which should be blatantly obvious with my first statement);so, I consider myself an expert. I am also a collector. I think the colors are not unusual or special. And, the formula (be it Satin or Matte) is not particularly remarkable. They are nice. At $45.00 they would be perfectly priced and on point with value. But, at $67.00, I think it’s a pass. CHANEL makes much better lipsticks for a lot less. If you wanted one to collect, then go for it but there are better colors and formulas for less. The three you chose are beautiful and look so good on you. I’m glad you like them! And, I enjoyed your review! 😍

@@stephaniesnider6178 Ten is quite an investment!!! I think the quality of the Hermes lipsticks is a bit inconsistent right now because some people have better experience than others. Also I was surprised to see those little "beads" on Rose Boise. It seems like some people are experiencing this issue and others not. I'm curious to see what other makeup products they will release this fall. Thanks for watching! xoxo
I just purchased the Beige Natural matte shade and I love it!!! Seriously the best matte formula that I have tried!

I agree with the Hermès and your philosophy of beauty. Too many people wear it as a mask. I like you, have only tried 2 of them. I’m not a big fan of matte lipsticks, but they are nice and do not feel dry. I was hesitant because the are matte. I am looking forward to whatever future cosmetics they will be releasing. However, being Hermès, I have high expectations from them. I do like that they are refillable. This may sound picky, but I wish more companies would make the lids magnetic. Who has never, ever had a lipstick lid come off and have a disaster in your bag? I enjoy your blog and videos and find them informative and entertaining.

Good to know about the matte formula. I have been very pleased with the satin lipsticks. Yes they’re expensive but they are also refillable. Now I want to try the matte! In a manner of speaking, Hermès has been in the cosmetic arena for many years. They have been and continue to be a respected perfume house. I think it’s a normal transition. Thank you for your wonderful review.
The colors are lovely! I like the Rose Boise--very natural and versatile. If the packaging is refillable, that would be great from a sustainable point of view. Anything to cut down on plastic and disposable packaging! Looking forward to more from Hermes--I bet they would make great nail polish. I would love to see a video on sustainable luxury beauty from you in the future!!!
Angela, the Hermes lipsticks are stunning on you!! You picked beautiful shades. I have not tried the matte line only the satin and love the lipsticks. I have not had any issues with the lipsticks. I look forward to new shades coming out and any other makeup Hermes sells. Great review!! 😊❤️

Hi Angela. I love watching your videos and reading your blog. I ordered 4 of the Hermes lipsticks when they first launched and I love them all. I have the Beige Natural in the matte formula, Rouge H in matte, Rose Boise in satin and the limited edition in Violet. I enjoy the satin formula but prefer the matte because it is longer lasting. I find the Hermes matte formula is much less drying than other matte brands. Can't wait for the new fall colors and seeing what new products Hermes launches. All the shades look beautiful on you. XX
I 've just ordered it directly in HERMES in the satin version in rose épicé. But it's the recharge, refill. In a hurry to receive it.💄💄💄💄.

Love these, Rose Boise is gorgeous, I also have Beige Tadelact in satin formula - I love both, but feel that matte formula is more unique. Great review 😘 and no, no beads on mine🤷🏻♀️

I have a couple of Hermes lipsticks and I like them and I also agree with you makeup it's not about making your nose smaller or darkening your skin it is about enhancing what you already have I don't tan or darken my skin or contour my nose I just keep the color that God gave me and just enjoy makeup for what it is.

I have the Hermes lipstick in Beige Naturel. It is gorgeous, and leaves my lips feeling soft and nourished. I plan to pick up a couple more colors.

Thank you for the review and swatches, Angela. For some reason I am really not very interested in these lipsticks. Maybe it was because I did not really like any of the colors in the satin formula. I have a hard time with matte lipstick, even when it is emollient. I have very dry lips. Maybe if I see a color I like I will splurge on one. All three colors looked very pretty on you and they did not look dry at all! Take care, Ginny 😘😘😘
I'm hesitant to purchase because I've been burned by a few of the high end/luxury lipsticks: colors were awful on (no place to see them in person; very drying; smelled awful; pay $$$$ for the case but refills are alwasy sold out OR they product dries out my lips. I haven't heard many great reviews (yours is one of the few) so that causes me to pause as well. Compared to CHANEL (who makes the best lipstick IMHO), which do you prefer (if you had to choose)? As always, your reviews are so informative...thank you! :)
Hello and thank you very much for watching my videos. I have a feeling that the quality of Hermes lipsticks is inconsistent and that's why the reviews are very different (this is because of the little beads that I saw on Rose Boise - as I mentioned in the video it looks like some lipsticks have this issue and other lipsticks don't have this issue). I think that maybe there are different batches - some with better quality and others are worse. This shouldn't happen having in mind the high price tag. I think the reason may be that they are still new in the business. In terms of texture they are very close to Chanel's Rouge Allure Camelia matte. They are matte but look luminous on the lips. You probably know that I love Chanel lol. So I will still choose Chanel - for many reasons. First of all I prefer Chanel's packaging because it's more elegant. I love the click opening of Chanel's lipsticks and the elegant black design just fits my style much better. The only lipstick formulation from Chanel that I don't like is Rouge Allure Velvet Extreme (the extreme matte lipsticks) because they feel too drying on my sensitive lips. Unless you are a fan of Hermes, I would say skip them. :) Chanel wins for me. xoxo

Never own any thing from Hermes. Maybe a blouse many years ago. I don't like mat lipsticks so most likely I will pas on them. XOXO

Hello Marlen :) I read that the scent was specially created by the in house perfumer of Hermes. I don't find it too strong but if you are sensitive to fragrances then it may bother you. Unfortunately most high end brands prefer their makeup products to be heavily scented. I don't approve that and I hope it will change over time because there are a lot of people who are very sensitive to fragrances. Thank you very much for watching! xoxo
