This kid's dream 35 years ago! This was / still is a great build brother! A dream come true for many of us in my age group! True, all R/C's are great, but there is just something extra special about the Tonka builds. : )
Great video I purchased my Indian winnie on ebay about a year ago and its been on the shelf ever since. Thanks for the post and giving me the ambition to start the build.
Damn...i can't even dare to take such high CG vehicle out on rocks, that too with rear steer, i feel like walking forward with my head looking back 😵. Only possible for pros like Medic to tame such machines 😎👍✌👍👍✌
I cant take all the credit for this.. I got this in a trade, and kept the frame. I added the axles and motors, and gave it the new power system - but the look of it, I kept original in honour of the original builder. I love the look of it :)
WOW! KILLER rig bro! Would love to have a 1:1. Absolutely beautiful job on the build. The country there is amazing. What a place to live an grow up bro!
Had One Back In The Day As A Kid.😊😥 ....My Childhood Dream Has Become Real!😲 👍👍👍👍👍😉 Thanks For The Upload Medic! ...I'm Going To Go Dig Up The Other Videos On This Rig You Have.
Glad to show you this rig! Many great builders have done this conversion now.. and they are all different! Really neat to see the old Tonka trucks converted into creative RC models
Hey brother! So glad to read that.. I wanted to take this out once all the snow melted and I sure am glad i did!! Ill do some fine tuning.. and take it out again! Thanks for the support all these years!
@@TheRealRCSparks usual the reason I wanted to get in. She because of you I finally did about 2 years ago and I'm loving it everyday I've been supportive since I was a little kid you might remember me telling you about the truck that I want to build the hammer of dawn well that's been put on the back burner for a little while but maybe one day
Have you seen Barbies Motor Home? About 4 foot long twin rear axles, I got one used as a kid and painted black for my 12" GI Joe's. Put the Helicopter on the back roof. My GI Joe's Where BadA$$ with that rig!!! Would love to see that wired up!
I agree Dave... much like full sized vehicles being restored and brought back to life.. seeing the old Tonka trucks come back and fulfill so many of our childhood dreams .. really is some RC magic at work!
Larry! I was thinking about you today when I was doing this film... glad to know you still come by and watch the show! Thank you for all these years of support.. really cool you still have the 'Bago!
Yes for sure sure looks beautiful there in a spring !! Man is that a awesome rig, I am following the guy that is converting over to a car holler appreciate you sharing medic i'll watch for more
What a beautiful location.... I always mount my receiver in a wp box.. usually taped to the inside of the roof... What an awesome machine! This is Jamie's old body?
Hi I am a old fan going all the way back 5 or 6 years and I am only 12. Your videos are awesome I wish I can meet you. Keep up the awesome work dude. Thanks for bringing me into this hobby. Tell your son I said hi plz. Have a good day or night I know you always read my comments that I normally send. Thanks for being awesome again and what's your favorite RC brand?
You do realize that all your dishes are on the floor now, and all your food in your refrigerator is now unrecognizable. Did you think about that BEFORE you took your RV off road? Your wife will NOT be happy with you Mister. And of course love all your vids, I watch them all. UA-cam GOLD BABY!!!
Hi, i noticed u are running the boom racing hustler tires and i have a little question that maybe u can help me with... Which way those tires are suposed to rotate? The center threads are equal either way but there are small differences on the side threads. I'm testing mines to see wich way they grip more but i'm guessing they have a right rotation direction... Any advice is welcome, thank u in advance... And thank u for inspiring me on entering the hobby... 😅
Wouldn't that be super cool in real life. UA-cam has a channel called trucks daily part of Motor Trend and they did a Winnebago four-wheel drive and did that and romped and stomped it. Did quite well too you should check them out or it could have been called dirt every day I think that's it. Cool video dig on your Innovative skills and knowledge of the sport. I used to race way way back in the day and my first good race truck was a Losi and it wasn't even the lxt it was a regular Losi converted into an lxt. Keep the videos coming brother and stay healthy and be good to yourself
So cool I want to build a Tonka truck of some kind ...so what is ur favorite rc to play with ? Ur go to...or u like me an love them all for different reasons
