Here’s a big tip I learned yesterday when I got a dub in gold 2: if you are in a power position and get pushed hard, don’t be afraid to dip. My squad and I had best spot in the final zone with 2 other teams. we got pushed hard and immediately retreated to some cover. The team that pushed us got rolled by the third party, and we reset, pushed in and got an easy dub. Don’t be afraid to leave your positioning if it means you get to be the third party!
Perfectly said. Ive lost more matches by trying to hold position while getting third partyed, always dip to reposition and let the others battle while you heal then 3rd party!!

I try to tell my squad this all the time. Like hey, all of our shields got doodoo'd on, lets dip. all i ever get back is "but we got the good spot" like is it really a good spot if we're dead? the best spot is the 1 we can fight from.

Love the apex content more than warzone, Apex just adds new stuff and updates more than warzone
Yup another update rn with small balancing changes and put the other 2 maps into rotation to keep the game fresh. Always refreshing to play since they have 3 maps

@@jpadacaful Cheaters in apex are different, they're still there, maybe just as prevelant too (per 1000 players). Except in Apex they stick to ranked, and with how Apex ranked works they float to the top FAAAAST. I've been playing for a few months now, have not spotted a single cheater (cause I suck lol).
16:02 Watching this video with my son and this was an absolute genius scan/play. Nick was so locked in all match. I loved the Comms and the hunger to get a dub. I watch Nick's vids pretty much everyday and this was masterful.
Nick seriously just moved all the major streamers to Apex. He low key started a movement. That’s alpha as hell!!! He leads the streamers to WarZone and now Apex. 🐺🐺🔥✊🏽

Look I love courage and lupo and they were original AF no doubt, but nick moving from warzone to apex has had a significantly bigger impact on both streamers and players jumping over to apex.
Whilst courage gets a decent following on live stream, his fans are much more day 1 die hard and would follow him onto viva pinata...
Nick moving to apex and keeping his viewerage has showed big streamers and content creators that the neutral gamer will enjoy apex and still enjoy watching them play, showing them they are not necessarily forced to warzone encouraging them to give apex a go...
Its also showcased how good apex is to the casual warzone player, who dominate nicks twitchstreams the past few months.

Played my first game today after these videos- got 7 kills and 6 downs- much more engaging than Warzone- people want to fight and not camp which I love!

I like to start by saying I’m glad Nicks enjoying the game, for new players tho ranked doesn’t define how good you are if you wanna get better at the game which why I think most new ppl clicked on the vid play pubs and drop hot and push fights to improve tracking, game sense, and movement much love hope all of you are enjoying the game

Pro tip, if you’re looking to get vertical with an octane pad you can punch it and it will shoot you straight up into the air. Glad to see the progress you guys are making man! GG’s
@Nickmerc when you get done with a fight nick always body swap to the body shield the ppl you killed it’s easier and helps if you get 3rd partied a lot keep up the grind and content glad you having fun on apex

lovin the streams mate. i cant sub so i havemt been able to comment in your chat. but i think a huge thing is just playing pubs. gives you the chance to push fights without the risk of losing rp and experience the game in a more aggressive way.

A good tip to rank up fast in apex is to hold down left thumb stick and get kills .. but slow down once you hit diamond 3 because you’ll be going against masters/preds. That’s how I get diamond 3 solo queue in the first 3 days of every season

On apex not exactly, up to gold is extremely easy, plat less so but most people just play for placement and don't even engage to get to diamond

@@a.garcha199 don't be that guy, the streamer is relatively new to the game from what I've seen. To get to diamond from bronze in a week whilst learning game mechanics and skills at the same time is pretty decent give credit where it is due. You can place out of bronze and silver but getting through gold and platinum you need to play the game.

Yo bro I've been play sense season 0 it's actually good that you went from bronze to the bottom of plat as soon as you get to play plat and diamond it's more sweaty you can push ppl for the first I'd say 4 to 5 min and it's camping after that ppl want to get rp so its better to play it safe and please for the love of god use grenades more they will help you ALOT last video you have a termite and you kept it for most of the game you can always get more so use them my highest is 13 kills I'm not that good but some advise is good to know and love the videos bro keep them up love that your playing apex and not cod it's a good change

I think the best bit of advice there was not every fight is a good fight. 3rd parties happen often so be careful which fights you take and if you're a man or two down don't look for fights unless your smurfing and are way lower then you should be because it won't end well
