Would the tm 275LHW do the same thing?
what transducer model are you using? would it be possible to help me choose a model for deep sea fishing?
If your unit permits it, you could use a 275LHW transducer and you'll have the same result of the video. Although here a S5100 module was also used.

why does our simrad not show depth? only the 3 dashes?
You might need to check the sources and do an auto select.
