- It's been a while but here is my version of "Give me Wings / Tsubasa wo Kudasai / 翼をください".
This song was originally written by Michio Yamagami (山上路夫) and composed by Kunihiko Murai (村井邦彦). In the movie "Evangelion: 2.22 - You Can (Not) Advance. / ヱヴァンゲリヲン新劇場版:破 Evangelion Shin-Gekijōban: Ha" however, a new arrangement by Motoki Funayama & Shirō Sagisu was used.
I already had looked all around the internet for this specific version but being unable to find it, I tried to make my own arrangement.
As you may hear, this isn't a one to one transcription of the movie song but it's by far the closest to the movie except that some parts are mixed.

So... finally got the time to watch 3.0+1.01 ...after all this time... it is over. The story is told. ...this Anime accompanied me for over 20 years now. ...it only felt right to end it with this song. Thank you for your rendition.

Well, that took some doing, but here's a new video.
I couldn't find any arrangement of this song that really satisfied me and sounds like how it is in the movie, so I tried to do my own :^)

This is so beautiful! Though I only know this song because of Danganronpa, I dunno the context of Evangelion, but for Danganronpa it was extremely dark and morbid, I can’t help to think dozens of teenagers screaming in agony as they die one by one. Hopefully Evangelion was more wholesome.
