EDIT - Check out my latest episode where we cover Fujin! ua-cam.com/video/BkyzpJmAUSk/v-deo.html As absolutely expected this video got demonetised instantly but I really wanted to do a more obscure character this time round. He really is interesting in Armageddon. There's no getting around the visual nature of Meat so I'll take this one on the chin. Enjoy!
to be honest I think the idea of meat was that it just bleeds everywhere and the joke that parents didn't like the gory blood of MK so they added a character that was nothing but gore
i think from mk4 they had these parts of damaged char parts for fatalities and they decided hey let's make for fun just one guy who is all these damaged parts put together(why not).
i remember reading his lore back in ps2 saying he always feel immense pain even from dust cause he has no skin, like geeez he feel all those and deciding to enter a kombat...
Well if he was playable, i wanna see him before his transformation. Maybe being a half undead half necromancer being able to control his body remotely. Thus moves I imagine to be: Head throw, Skeleton hand claw, Temporary stun grab, Meager regen skeleton hand stab, High knockback meat hand punch Blood slide High damage self damaging heavy punch/kick. I kinda see him as a brute with little to no regard for his body. He uses his health to deal high damage that are easy to dodge normally. He has to constantly hit the opponent to stay in the fight. His head attack doesn't do much and is a last resort as it's cool down is unbearable. His technique is just using his sorcerery to move with a goal of getting close to the opponent at all costs however it's weakness is it's inability to sustain itself without dealing damage. As such a foe can easily choose how to approach him. Overall high punishment low control character that is dependent on mistakes of the enemy. Waiting is hardly an option as health will decrease steadily until three quater of his health. High knockback and jump attacks are his main way to get into close quarters, after this match is almost forfeit.
I would really like if they added meat as a secret character, not as dlc because hes not really ment for that. But since they probably have a 3d model of the characters "meat", it would be cool. Kinda sad secret characters have been complitly replaced be dlc.

@@elmono6299 Meat was pretty much made to show off the gore graphics of MK, seeing that MK11 is making use of their best tech yet, its the best time to bring him back~ and yes, @#$% haters xD
I used to main Meat in Armageddon. I never knew he was just cheap. I remember my cousin was one of those always-want-to-win types so he stopped playing Armageddon with me pretty quickly.
It would be probably be kinda silly to bring back Meat in the modern MK context, but I think it would be a really cool character design for Skarlet to use Meat as like a puppet character. She controls blood, so she creates Meat and uses her blood magic to move him around like a weird fleshy automaton. Glad to see breakdowns on some of the weird characters in MK's history, a lot of folks like to sweep the 3D MKs under the rug. They're not GREAT games, but they're wacky fun.
Or you could have Meat be the first blood mage. And his name might not have been "Meat", but everyone ended up calling him that because nobody could recognize him anymore. He could even be a teacher for Skarlet, and might warn her about how blood magic might actually be more of a curse than a strength.
Fatality ideas for Meat: - Fleshed Out: Meat stands to the side of the opponent and slices down on them like a guillotine with his cleaver, skinning the front of the opponent's torso in a clean cut. Meat performs his grapple and slams their back across his knee, freeze framing as their guts explode from their stomach. - Ahead: Meat rips his own head off and makes it bite into the opponents throat, ripping it out like Liu Kang in MKX. As they bleed from their throat, Meat grabs his head by its stretchy eye and uses it as a flail to crush the opponent. - Skin Dip: Meat jumps onto the opponent and both dissappear into a puddle of blood on the floor. After a few seconds, Meat emerges from the puddle, peeling off the pieces of skin that the opponent left on him.
You must be completely put of your mind if you think it takes itself seriously lmao. If anything MK11 compared to X and 9 is a much, much more light hearted and goofy game.

The one thing I loved about MK Armeggedon was the ability to create a custom looking and named character with 2 different fighting styles, that could be used online. I don't know if they brought it back for MKX or MK11, but that would be cool if they did.
I recently thought of a way to bring Meat into Mortal Kombat 1, as more than a Kameo, even. Make him a Titan jumping between timelines, out to kill his own creators in every universe for the crime of letting a horrific and eternally pained monster like himself exist. But his origin story varies between timelines, so he's after a LOT of people, giving him a reason to fight everyone. It's an absurd premise for a character like Meat to become such a powerful being, but Mortal Kombat has always been absurd, so I think it could work.
