To be clear, this album had no bad songs, it's just a different sound on the first half compared to the second half of the album, but to a person that approached this album with an open mind, just to see what joey was bringing with this album, it is damn near perfect
Devyn Beardmen the album is fire really great stuff but if you really was about hip-hop wouldn't you want to hear more about the story, if not that's not hip-hop this channel is a joke.
Lol you know whats so funny Feefo hasn't been saying its bumps in the whip on the past few reviews and also he didn't say cohesive too,he usually throws that in on every review
Before I watch, I just want to say that ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ was a dope project by Joey. It's the first project of his I listened to and I was pleased with his lyrics, production, content, and message. My favorites from the project are Temptation, Y U Don't Love Me?, Super Predator, and Land of the Free.
He seemed to have taken on a similar rhetorical strategy to what Frederick Douglass actually took on in the 1850s with his speech "What to the Slave is the Fourth of July". He used a softer and more conciliatory tone and content during the introduction to attempt to lure the audience into sympathy and then switched to an aggressive and unapologetic critique in the second half.
Soon doesn't have to be in a couple days or weeks. They're simply hyping the album, and personally I think they will drop it in two to three months riding the wave off of this album and their feature. It could come sooner because Kirk has been making a lot of beats recently without samples so clearance shouldn't be as much of an issue.
93tillinfinity47 lol it's on Nyck twitter from an hour ago "the track not coming today guys, next week I promise", but there was a tweet a week ago about it being for Nyck @ Knight
I really dig it when you discuss outside. Don't know why Maybe because it reminds me of when I discovered your channel back in the days and your first review I watched was one outside. Brings that good day back
I think the obvious comparison to make for this album is between All Amerikkkan Badass and To Pimp A Butterfly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but TPAB's main theme was that we're lacking love in ourselves and for each other and to be strong together, Joey's album covers those same themes except he made it the entire point through all 12 tracks and at the end of the album he even provided a solution to all the bullshit going on in an intellectual level that Kendrick has never done, or at least not yet anyways. The love thing may not be as prominent in this album like TPAB but it's definitely there and Joey sounds like a defender for the culture. I think this album deserves waaaaay more praise. Way more praise. I won't lie I agree that the production sounds really floaty and light during the first half, but Joey killed every verse on every track, in my opinion this is his best work to date and should be put on as high regard as to pimp a butterfly. Now, talking about the album by itself, I think because of the production on the first half of the album it made Joey sound like he wasn't as aggressive as he usually is but his lyrics, flow & delivery were at least semi-fierce on almost every song, excluding the last one and first, he might not sound as angry but the impact was still there. Y u don't love me, Rockabye Baby, Super Predator, Land of the free, Ring the Alarm, and Amerikkkan Idol were the best tracks on the album, there are quotables left and right all over this album. I'm not a big fan of cole, and that part where he said "that ain't a way to live.... or maybe it is" just made me go like... bro please shut up lol but his verse besides that was really good and wasn't enough to take away from the album. But Schoolboy Q had the best guest feature on the album, I'd even go as far as to say that was the realest shit I ever heard him spit behind his verses on Blessed and Cycle. I think the best part about Joey's lyricism in this album is that he mixes these liberating-type lyrics with some higher level knowledge that blends perfectly, "Holy cross on my back, got a bullseye on it, I gotta get stoned to fulfill my moment, oppress my oppressor, suppress my opponent, channel my ancestor, he wouldn't condone it", those are top tier level bars! Anyways, I get why this could be a disappointment to others, because besides the content of the album, the MUSIC and the SOUND may not be what you expect or wanted from Joey which I can completely understand 100%. It definitely is way different aesthetically than B4$ and 1999 if that makes sense, but I still fuck with it. Thanks and awesome review!
EXACTLY HOW I FEEL. Honestly this more enjoyable to listen to compared to TPAB. As a body of work, the structure of TPAB was absolutely stellar yet this was also steller. So overall Im actually going to say I think this a better album than TPAB by a hair due to the reply value.
Sam Rowan Just a tip man. You added some unnecessary words in their that just make it sound like you're trying hard to sound educated. I understand what you said and agree with you but, just saying.
7796761 Sentence structure was correct, he just didn't have any punctuation because fuck it. a few commas is that bitch and that comment bumps in the whip
Joey actully said in an interview (can´t remember where) that he wanted the message to be straight forward for the people who usually just listen to the beats and in that retrospect i think he did a good job. Ill try to find the interview
tylar Hendrix People should've known that eventually he was going to go for a different sound on this album. I fuck wit 1999, Summer Knights, and B4 Da $$, but I wanted Joey to abandon that 90s sound and adapt to a more current one, and he gave that to me.
One of the better videos you guys have came out with in a long time. I missed when you guys were at a random spot just having a conversation about an album. I actually really liked the album as well and agreed that I wanted more of Joey going hard af but at the same time I understand he wanted to go in this kind of direction and I think he executed it really well. I feel like he really matured as a person and he wanted to show that in his music. I personally enjoyed this album more than his debut album and I am looking forward to whatever he puts out next.
Super Predator is way better than just ok. It's the best track on the album. Possibly his best track period. We need more jazz-funk from Joey and in hip hop in general.
Joey album was phenomenal! FYM....He showed versatility with the singing hooks. Kids will bump this shit even more cuz of those hooks. That boom bap shit gets stale after awhile man.
Okay, so first of all nice review guys thanks for the content and I'm about to check out the Early Access Freddie review, so thanks for that too. So about this Joey Bada$$ album. I ended up adoring it because I actually love the first half, I think he did that, I guess "mainstream" sort of sound extremely well and in a unique way, I enjoyed it very much. And of course I love the second half of the album. It goes without saying that I think his content is fantastic as you guys clearly mentioned. Given this, I think I ended up liking the album more than you guys because for me it was actually consistently fantastic from start to finish, so I'm fucking blown away. And YES that last song is so superb it is crazy, I agree that it works as a perfect outro. The way the beat does not necessarily switch but subtly changes into that more sinister tone was so crazy and how the symbols and what not were slowly increasing in intensity combined with Joey's fantastic verses. Fucking unreal. My favorite song, at least at this time, was "BABYLON" the last song is a close runner up but I fucking love how Joey just is yelling and sounds so emotional and is so fucking punchy on BABYLON. I think Miss Amerikkka is a fantastic song too, I love all the songs really. This album is fucking awesome.
Sedrick I pretty much agree with you. I just don't get how people can't fuck with the first half of this album, but opinions are opinions. My favourite song is Super Predator
For Joey's second album to be such a conscious and politically charged project says a lot about him as a person he had something to get off his chest and he did it,I respect that it might not have been hardcore rap but the message was great it's good to hear music like this from one of my favorite rappers
RAIKEN Strike unfortunately his fan base didn't support him he only sold 30k .....so if we see him focusing more on radio singles ..we got no one to blame but ourselves
As someone who didn't grow up listening to 90s hip hop, I really loved this album. I felt like he was talking about a lot of relevant and truthful issues. Temptation was a great track to me, but I really enjoyed this whole album front to back. It's rare that I don't skip tracks on an album but I let this one play thru. Rockabye Baby was amazing too.
2001bham well he didn't. And he didn't need too, if anything prototypical was the best way to say this. Because an album is an art FORM and prototypical describes the form or something. Y'all niggas cheeks
Joey “Badmon” Badass - All American Badass review Criteria Lyrics 20 Content 20 Production 20 Creativity/Originality 20 Cultural Significance 20 Lyrics This is the follow up to B4 DA $$, which saw Joey as a pure lyricist spit dope rhymes over beats. As a 20 year old his aggressive energy and delivery is where we met the Badmon , even though he had introspective lyrics since 1999 mixtape. On this album, we have two Joeys, one we haven’t met. The more mellow introspective Joey that prefers laid back beats , lacing them with lyrics and occasional sing songy approach of today’s music. Joey experimented with that the first half and the second half ..well the Badmon showed up, still spitting rhymes laced with metaphors , current events, and introspection. A few so so hooks but in the lyrics category Joey gets a 19. Content Joey set out to do something most CAN’T do today and still is probably one of the hardest things to do musically, make an album about one theme. That’s why these are rarities these days and many artist take the playlist approach. To stick to one theme and develop that theme throughout 12-16 tracks takes true skills. The content is appropriate. We are living in a very racially motivated world. Joey is telling us his struggles and what he sees. We see it too and hear it as well. Some of us can relate, others don’t want to relate and some chose to ignore. So this category can be rated anywhere from 10-20. Me, I’m 40+ . I can relate and appreciate him putting this in an album. I also think this is something the youth will revisit. Some tracks in the first half can actually be merged, as they cover the same content. But I rate this a 15…see the creativity/originality section (This might change as I am still listening) Creativity/Originality There are several ways to make your album creative: Features, storytelling, beat selection , topics, creative literary devices. The major flaw with this album is the inability of Joey Badass to spread his awesome lyrics and delivery over 12 tracks. Because of the fact that some of the tracks could be merged , I think it was necessary for Joey to try other avenues of spreading raps such as storytelling. Because it's the same theme, the topics got to be diverse. The raps are diverse within the songs but what you have is a collection of mostly dope and diverse rhymes over and over in each track. Knowing how skilled this rapper is I think this was a big miss. Creativity/Originality= 8 Production I love those first few songs and understand that he may be experimenting with his sound but I feel the production of those first few songs sound alike. They do however flow into one each other but again the production would not stand out if he spread the topic better. Production Overall a decent 15 Cultural Perspective /Growth This is a necessary album whether some think so or not. Noone is making these types of albums . People are making Tracks about racial inequality but an album is unheard of. This kind of tells you where this 22 year old was at. Most fans also expect artist to sound like the last project they liked but that does not make sense. Life happens, people happen, events happen, sadness creeps in, happiness stops by, you travel the world and see things, you have conversations and you mingle with old and new friends. I can honestly say that I hear the maturity in joey from one album to the next. In this culture where people want to hear the same sound and rappers become copycats it’s refreshing to hear artist development with the current times and events. Cultural Perspective/ Growth= 20 Overall 77/100
I agree with Myke and Feefo, I hadn't heard alot of Joey Bada$$, but this was the first project I sat down and listened to. Joey sounds super dope, and has a super dope message too. This project was great!
Capital STEEZ was really into meditation and astral projection, and balancing your chakras. STEEZ claimed the 4th and 7th chakra was the ultimate balance. Plus there's many historical and spiritual alignments to the number 47 also. So Pro Era really just correlates '47' into themselves.
Feefo always starts out with an opinion he thinks the guys will agree with (but misses the mark) then when he's questioned on it backtracks halfway takes back what he says and steps away from the convo a little bit
Damn the Album Leak really hurt Joey Badass smh only 30k first week ....Along with It being a Political Album and Kendrick dropping a week Later ....But watch those that didnt support Joey start complaining when he starts switching his sound because it's obvious his fan base didn't support him when he dropped AABA .....we complain we want artist to have substance but when they do we don't support it unless it's Kendrick or Cole
Great point. I ran out to support this but I also heard that because of the leak he may reconsider physical releases which sucks. Hope he just stops physical releases before the week's over and then sends them later. Joey can rap really well and I love him on harder records but with Devastated being his most streamed song he may go with that sound moreso since our crowd isn't buying the music.
Romy Taylor HHDx says real sales will be between 24-27K and streams making it 34K max to be #9 on the billboard. So that's pretty low since I think the last album debut with 50K. Maybe that leak really slowed down the numbers
Another great DEHH video. I LOVE this album. Excellent content and message as well. I really enjoyed both halves of the album. The Martin and The Malcolm lol. Question: Is it that ya'll don't like chill sounding rap in general and always prefer more aggressive, "hard" rap? Or does it depend on the artist? I'm curious because this isn't the first time I've gotten that vibe. I really can get into both but I may be slightly more on the chill spectrum than the "hardcore". For example, I personally don't think J. Cole is boring (yes I'm a J. Cole fan...but a rational one) and really dug the 1st half of this album.
This album was GREAT.! From beginning to end.! I love how in the beginning he started off as a young naive kid who knew shit was fucked up but stayed positive & the 2nd half was more Fuck that, shit fucked up & only gone get worst before & can TRULY get better, war vibe. Babylon & Amerikkkan idol were all time tracks SPECIALLY his final words on A.I. It gave me goosebumps.
Damn. I loved the first half of the album. I get the 'chill sound for aggressive lyrics' - critisism. But it just sounds so good i love it. Keep that style Joey!
Keyser Soeze 1999's lead tracks were Survival Tactics,Waves and Hardnock Life both addressing issues that the youth all over the world needed to hear at the time and we can't forget the song Snakes. Pro Era's mixtape "Peep The Aprocalypse" was full of truths plus Joey Badass has a song called 710 (OIL) talking about the greed in the world...got dammit he has a song called "Christ Conscious" with Conscious in the title. Maybe he doesn't speak to the generation of DEHH but Joey has been uplifting the whole world since 1999. Plus he's a part of Mr.Robot one of the most conscious and socially aware programmes of our times, maybe you need to recheck your definition of conscious.
The 47 represents b47lance. The 4 stands for the 4th chakra (heart chakra) and the 7 for the 7th chakra (crown chakra = feeling of oneness, enlightenment, connection to the universe). As always great review!
I respect this review . I actually like the whole album . Yes I get the difference in the two halves but I like the balance . Also I appreciate the maturity in your reviews .
i dont see why so many people arent fucking with this lol.I couldnt stop playing it when it first came out.Seems like I'm one of the only people who thinks its one of the best albums in recent memory.Maybe its because people expected a different sound from joey but its dope imo.
I think they judged it a bit too harshly simply because it wasn't what they expected from Joey. This was my first Joey project I listened to and I enjoyed it from top to bottom because I didn't have any preconceived notions or expectations coming into it. After listening to his entire discography, I get what they're saying, but I don't think they gave the front half a chance just because it was different
Balanced is a good word for this project. He gave you two kinds of him. I like it a lot, except for "Devastated." My favorite track, honestly, is "Babylon" with Chronixx. Love that reggae/hip-hop fusion.
I'm a fan of Joey's earlier stuff too, but the beginning few songs were actually some of my favourites on the album, thought they showed a lot of growth sound-wise for him.
I promise you the minute Rockabye Baby started I knew ScHoolboy would be featuring. It felt as though the beat was made for him and Joey featured. Q killed it.
first half is reflective that's why it sounds like that. the beats were a perfect backdrop to me. it's inviting and thoughtful, it made me wanna think about the issues he discussed further. then the second half was like ok now that we've thought about these things and came together let's do something about it and start moving in a more aggressive direction
I agree with this review. this album could reach the masses. The back half of the album really sealed the deal. But I am really enjoying the first half the more i listen to it
Damn them birds have some interesting opinions lol
8-bitmarbles They thought the album was fly asf
That's what u get in Atlanta bruh and them damn crickets sound like a choir.
At night.
8-bitmarbles I wish my city had trees....
😂😂😂😂
OH SHIT THEY OUTSIDE AGAIN. FEELING LIKE 2013 IN THIS BITCH!
TheTruth made me laugh. Thank you.
TheTruth facts thought i was the only one thinking that. Thankfully, I'm wrong.
They've got to go back to that overpass for a review one of these days.
miss those times
TheTruth FACTS!
I loved this album. It's peaceful and righteous at first then it gets hard and aggressive. I don't know I like it alot.
Pape-Bara
Homophobia is not an argument
Sergio Rodriguez was hard and aggressive for literally 2.5 songs. Then goes back to smooth
a review outside og dead end hip hop
That new camera is very cohesive
I honestly didn't know what to expect but it definitely bumps in the whip
Three Stacks 😂😂😂😂😂
The camera has it's own lane
I didn't know what to expect 😂.
That's just Kanye being Kanye
THE AESTHETICS OF THIS EPISODE IS FLAWLESS.
To be clear, this album had no bad songs, it's just a different sound on the first half compared to the second half of the album, but to a person that approached this album with an open mind, just to see what joey was bringing with this album, it is damn near perfect
This album was good man
Devyn Beardmen nah...it wasn't
The Hidden Truth stfu kid
The Hidden Truth That's like, your opinion man.
Devyn Beardmen yeah felt so chilled
Devyn Beardmen the album is fire really great stuff but if you really was about hip-hop wouldn't you want to hear more about the story, if not that's not hip-hop this channel is a joke.
Ahhhh what a long day, time for be-
UA-cam: Dead End Hip Hop just uploaded a video to UA-cam.
dohertyz Lol IKR
dohertyz lol i just woke up
Yall really went on a company retreat to listen to Joey's shit with all them birds, real ones.
Didn't hear "bump in the whip" once, I gotta say, I'm disappointed :(
2kHQ Highlights to my knowledge feefo hasnt been saying that for a min.
Lol you know whats so funny Feefo hasn't been saying its bumps in the whip on the past few reviews and also he didn't say cohesive too,he usually throws that in on every review
He will bring it back when the next KRIT album drops.
Hahah
Before I watch, I just want to say that ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$ was a dope project by Joey. It's the first project of his I listened to and I was pleased with his lyrics, production, content, and message. My favorites from the project are Temptation, Y U Don't Love Me?, Super Predator, and Land of the Free.
Chieff Rocka Super Predator is my favorite joint
Little late but please check out 1999 and B4DA$$, then Summer Knights

He used a softer and more conciliatory tone and content during the introduction to attempt to lure the audience into sympathy and then switched to an aggressive and unapologetic critique in the second half.
Drew Rangel he did it beautifully he captured casual/the 'whites' nicely & the whole album felt like it was leading into Amerikkkan idol
& i're growing on people everyday -which can be seen by his streams gradually picking up stream again
It was a fucking great album.
Kirk Knight and Nyck Caution are dropping Nyck @ Knight soon and they said this was just a preview.
93tillinfinity47 when they say soon, I just can't believe it
Soon doesn't have to be in a couple days or weeks. 93tillinfinity47 aren't they dropping a single next week
Superior 2K hopefully. I didn't hear anything about that though
93tillinfinity47 lol it's on Nyck twitter from an hour ago "the track not coming today guys, next week I promise", but there was a tweet a week ago about it being for Nyck @ Knight
Looks like this was filmed on the set of Get Out
I really dig it when you discuss outside. Don't know why
Maybe because it reminds me of when I discovered your channel back in the days and your first review I watched was one outside. Brings that good day back
drop more reviews outside man, just like this one! feelin those old dehh vibes on this one 👌

Manny Paul this album is great but it's nowhere near as good as TPAB
This must be a DEHH world record upload time.
Sam Rowan Just a tip man. You added some unnecessary words in their that just make it sound like you're trying hard to sound educated. I understand what you said and agree with you but, just saying.
AKL ZEN just a tip, when basic words are too "fancy" for u, it makes u sound like a lil yachty fan
The sentence construction was awful though.
7796761 Sentence structure was correct, he just didn't have any punctuation because fuck it. a few commas is that bitch and that comment bumps in the whip
It's nothing serious. It was just kind of funny when you said , 'I said what I meant and meant what I said, ' with the somewhat 'awful grammar'.
Joey actully said in an interview (can´t remember where) that he wanted the message to be straight forward for the people who usually just listen to the beats and in that retrospect i think he did a good job. Ill try to find the interview
I think it was in the hot 97 interview
Feefo's glo'd up bruh. Look at him in old videos, this dude must've switched barbers cause now his shit look dope
Alex Sanabria It's the crispy new camera, bro.
Byron Henderson that's what I thought too
Alex Sanabria beezys shit too
joey only does 90's throw back but when changes his sound abit "ahh its not the joey we want"
tylar Hendrix there's nothing wrong with feeling that way, to each their own
tylar Hendrix People should've known that eventually he was going to go for a different sound on this album. I fuck wit 1999, Summer Knights, and B4 Da $$, but I wanted Joey to abandon that 90s sound and adapt to a more current one, and he gave that to me.

Listen to Preacher's Son from TUT. It was my 2nd favourite album of 2015.
MrRoboto66 ever heard of an opinion
Fireeee
huge W its so good
Joey album was phenomenal! FYM....He showed versatility with the singing hooks. Kids will bump this shit even more cuz of those hooks. That boom bap shit gets stale after awhile man.
Kiandre Smith I don’t understand their review at all. Joeys messages in the album were so meaningful. Not to mention the lyrics
Okay, so first of all nice review guys thanks for the content and I'm about to check out the Early Access Freddie review, so thanks for that too.
So about this Joey Bada$$ album. DEHH drinking game: take a shot everytime Feefo says "prototypical"
This album will appeal more to the younger generation and to get everyone to think and open their mind. The first songs weren't uplifting? Buggggggin😂
Notification squad, ASSEMBLE!!
back to the outdoor scene! I mess with it!
I love that you guys still enjoy doing these album reviews as much as I enjoy watching them. Keep doing you guys it's much appreciated.
Love the outside reviews...giving me nostalgia of the early days
just needs more black and white and modest media zooming in and out on everybodys faces
lol yes
sdghv lvhgngv and the old music
Glad to see you guys doing the outside reviews again. And this Joey joint is nice!
JOEY BADA$$ A FUTURE LEGEND
Mateo Toro a NOW legend
As someone who didn't grow up listening to 90s hip hop, I really loved this album. I felt like he was talking about a lot of relevant and truthful issues. Temptation was a great track to me, but I really enjoyed this whole album front to back. It's rare that I don't skip tracks on an album but I let this one play thru.
Rockabye Baby was amazing too.
1:35 Feefo: "It just didn't sound like PROTOTYPICAL Joey"
clear example of wrong usage of the word PROTOTYPICAL.
Prototypical means to be the typical form of something. This was not the prototypical Joey album
Rayyan Sayeed He could just say typical or representative
2001bham exactly my point. He could have just used the word "typical"
Braeden Hysuick I don't get it. he could've just used "typical"
2001bham well he didn't. And he didn't need too, if anything prototypical was the best way to say this. Because an album is an art FORM and prototypical describes the form or something. Y'all niggas cheeks
why most people not messing with the first half? for my people, temptations, land of the free are probably my favorite tracks by him EVER
I wasn't surprised by Joey going in a conscious direction because he was on the show Mr. Robot so I know he's #woke
Love the change of background guys, keep it up! The one thing I enjoy from coming home from a long day at uni. Thanks guys.

This is the follow up to B4 DA $$, which saw Joey as a pure lyricist spit dope rhymes over beats.
Content
Joey set out to do something most CAN’T do today and still is probably one of the hardest things to do musically, make an album about one theme. But I rate this a 15…see the creativity/originality section (This might change as I am still listening)
Creativity/Originality
There are several ways to make your album creative: Features, storytelling, beat selection , topics, creative literary devices. Creativity/Originality= 8
Production
I love those first few songs and understand that he may be experimenting with his sound but I feel the production of those first few songs sound alike. They do however flow into one each other but again the production would not stand out if he spread the topic better. Production Overall a decent 15
Cultural Perspective /Growth
This is a necessary album whether some think so or not. Cultural Perspective/ Growth= 20
Overall 77/100
I fuck so much with doing the reviews outside! Good change of pace! Props to yall.
I agree with Myke and Feefo, I hadn't heard alot of Joey Bada$$, but this was the first project I sat down and listened to. Joey sounds super dope, and has a super dope message too. This project was great!
y'all came quick with the review 🔥🔥🔥🔥😎🙏 keep at it
alfredoni saintclair They know they going to get hit up like crazy in a few hours
alfredoni saintclair They knew they had to review this shit before Kendrick came out
DEHH album reviews when you're outside are always the best! Keep doing videos outside fellas!
Feefo didn't say it bumps in the whip?
I'm liking the change of setting. Seems like it must make audio a bit trickier but man I don't know anything about that haha. Thanks for the video!
I've missed the birds on these videos man, they always used to be chirping in the background of their old videos. Welcome back birds.
Shoutout to whoever edits y'alls vids. Under appreciated aspect of your channel
that last verse in the entire album though>>>
Capital STEEZ was really into meditation and astral projection, and balancing your chakras. STEEZ claimed the 4th and 7th chakra was the ultimate balance. Plus there's many historical and spiritual alignments to the number 47 also. So Pro Era really just correlates '47' into themselves.
Travis Ragbeer oceans 47
Revok Sixth fr man. That Pisses me off honestly.
Revok Sixth Smh!!
Romy Taylor HHDx says real sales will be between 24-27K and streams making it 34K max to be #9 on the billboard. So that's pretty low since I think the last album debut with 50K. Maybe that leak really slowed down the numbers
Album sales aren't everything. Hasn't Chance taught you this?
YALL AINT DONE OUTSIDE IN AWHILE.... GOOD SHIT.
Love the outdoor reviews reminds me of old school dehh
That beat switch up at the end of DNA had me losing my shit. I'm still recovering.
I think you for the wrong album lol
I always come here for hip hop reviews.Keep up the good work DEHH!
Ken thought he was onto something with that Dogg Pound thing
Best album i've heard this year so far. His singing on this album was nice af and that second half was fucking crazy.
Joey Badass new album actually sounds pretty good. He's starting2win me over, slowly but surely. Hopely he can stay consistent goin forward.
Messenger MCExtra1 Yup. Joey's close to dropping a groundbreaking project like TBAP
Where's the review for the Kendrick snippets from LeBron's Instagram??!!??
The album comes out tonight! why would they review a snippet?
MK ULTRA SOLDIER II that's the joke

I've never met someone so clueless in real life. I don't what I'll do to them if I ever do.
I've never met someone so clueless in real life. I don't what I'll do to them if I ever do.
I'm glad Myke gets it. It is hard to reach these kids. This may not be the Joey we want, but it is the Joey that we need.
I'm ready for Nyck Caution and Kirk Knight album
i like the settings remind me of you guys old reviews outside good job boys.
LOVE THE INTRO FRAME!
Birds gave it a solid 8/10
How can y'all say "I never thought Joey as a conscious rapper"??
Muzik Trabolee
How is Christ Conscious a conscious song? Just because of the title?
Muzik Trabolee i agree he’s always had conscious lines in some of his songs since the beginning, just not a whole album with them
wow 2011 throwback i been trollin yall a long time
Damn y'all camera is nice as hell
The 47 represents b47lance. The 4 stands for the 4th chakra (heart chakra) and the 7 for the 7th chakra (crown chakra = feeling of oneness, enlightenment, connection to the universe).
As always great review!
The video quality on this video is amazing what camera ya'll using??
Cool outdoor Review. Them birds be CHIRPING BRUH!!
Damn the quality of this video is so damn crisp. And I like the birds chirping in the background too lol

FEAR. GOD. DUCKWORTH. ELEMENT. FEEL. DNA.
I really hope you guys review Leaf Dog - Dyslexic Disciple, probably the best UK hip hop album of the year so far. Lyrically uplifting and sensational
Great review! I'm liking the album more and more with each listen.
Feefo can you do a solo review of the new chainsmokers album
Would appreciate it buddy
My favorite hip hop album of the year so far. I love how it started of light and gradually gets darker and deeper
I really loved the first half, its a different Joey, but he still crushed it IMO, his singing voice is really good, he hit most of them notes.
I'm kinda shocked they're reviewing this already *shrugs* I'm strapped in!!!!
DeeAkaYourFavoriteAlbino Talley I'll clap you in a coma!!!
The Black Pharaoh MADNESS!!!! Myke can snap at any moment!!!!
DeeAkaYourFavoriteAlbino Talley Dehh should start reviewing battle rap.
Jthe Lightseeker I co sign that idea fam! But I think myke is the only one that watches it unfortunately
The beats you guys have playing in the background is really good
This is one of y’all best reviews
YO 6:10 KEN WAS SO HAPPY AND SAID THAT WITH SO MUCH CONFIDENCE JUST TO GET SHIT ON LOOOOOOOOL
first half is reflective that's why it sounds like that. the beats were a perfect backdrop to me. it's inviting and thoughtful, it made me wanna think about the issues he discussed further. then the second half was like ok now that we've thought about these things and came together let's do something about it and start moving in a more aggressive direction
Damn, ...You guys reviewing outside again? Brings back some good memories fr.
DERP-DROP Word, I was listening to GKMC earlier and made me think about their review on it.
Can't beat the Sec.80 one in the car tho.
Myke Holding his Cup like these niggahs bout to go on a hike.
Can't wait for the DAMN review! Kendrick has proved he can pretty much hold a whole album just by himself and not many rappers can.
myke is right, exactly how i feel about this album. i liked the earlier tracks more on the fourth or fifth listen but the last half is the standouts
I agree with this review. this album could reach the masses. The back half of the album really sealed the deal. But I am really enjoying the first half the more i listen to it
Duckworth had me on the edge of my seat like BRUHHH. Still copping the album
Mesut Ozil and FEAR like DAMN bruh
