I'm an American and got lost walking through Seoul late one night when I was staying there when I did not have any access to internet or gps or address to where I was staying. I was so scared and sad and hungry and tired I eventually took refuge in a KFC to gain my bearings and nibble on something before continuing on. I eventually found my way back to my place (around 4am lol) and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of my KFC after I wasn't frantic anymore lol The best feature was the packaging/vessel the had the jelly in for the biscuits. So genius. iyky.
In Australia we have the 'Zinger' burger. It's definitely the best selling burger, and meal. Edit: We do have lettuce on ours though, not sure if it's exactly the same product.
We have the zinger in the caribbean, this is definitely not the same product. Yeah it seems that everywhere the zinger exists it's the best sandwich kfc has. The cruncher shouldn't even exist.
That's because each franchise caters to the food and culture in the country they are in. Mac and Cheese is so American you won't even find that in Europe or the UK. While Mashed potatoes are not exclusive to America (ofc) you still won't find that in the UK menus either...and people talking about biscuits?? Again must be an American thing (like chicken and waffles which is popular state side, not so much globally). In the UK our sides are the crappy fries, HEINZ beans, corn on the cob, coleslaw and a crappy salad. Even typing this out this sounds strange to me as this is such a weird selection. I also personally hate beans and corn on the cob...the slaw is meh and the fries are just filler carbs to get my money's worth. Those squid bites do look nice though, I doubt that's panko breadcrumbs but if they are, then that's the most boujee thing on their menu.
In Australia we had a limited time item called "Smokey BBQ Wings" which were just original recipe wings coated in Smokey BBQ sauce. They were pretty good honestly
FYI the mint chocolate chip sauce was probably never intended to taste good. Mint choc is a big trend in Korea and by advertising Mint Choc Sauce with their chicken it shocks people and makes them feel that they need to see what's it's like because it's just so ludicrous. TL;DR: It's a marketing trick
It's pretty wasteful to make a sauce that's going to go straight in the trash, creating not only food waste but plastic as well just for a marketing gimmick.
The Smokey Mountain BBQ was available in the States a few years back. Tried it once on some tendies. I remember enjoying it but can't recall how good it was exactly.

Its called a chicken sandwich never a burger. where did you get this information? even if one were to call something a "chicken burger" in the US it would be like ground chicken cooked like a burger, not like a chicken sandwich..
For the squid bites I would assume that the squid is locally caught and then frozen of course. Those bites for sure get assembled in a factory. Squid gets cut up into bite sized then coated and flash frozen. It's just frozen squid but I highly doubt it is imitated, especially since it isn't over here in the states.
Never heard it called “The Scorcher,” but it looks the same as just the chicken sandwich in the US that you can get regular or spicy. It’s definitely one of my favorite chicken sandwiches (yes, more than Popeye’s). Also never heard “black label,” but the US did have a Smokey Mountain BBQ option (and Georgia Gold), but I think only has Nashville Hot now. Maybe “black label” means dark meat instead of their normal white tenders???
Could the black label mean it’s a bourbon base barbecue sauce? I have seen thinks like Jack Daniels used to flavor barbecue sauce and I tend to like it. The sauce tenders looked amazing. To sweet is up my ally! Hold the mint tooth paste!

In the states, "Black Label" often refers to a bourbon or whiskey (i.e. Johnnie Walker or Jack Daniels). BBQ sauces here are sometimes made with whiskey/bourbon so I would guess that KFC used a BBQ sauce made with a black label liquor.
