as a native I am both happy that you enjoyed it here, and amused to hear Neapolitan music in the background. a bit like a tour of Massachusetts with Texan music. strange. but we're probably the only ones that will notice, I guess. Genoa is so little known.
genoa and naples are kind sisters from some of the inhabitants both for maritime history and for the conformation of the cities that makes them very similar
@@Blondvsdiocane I can see how they might look similar from the outside, but centuries of histories separate them and created unique food and music cultures. Remember, these two territories have only been part of the same political entity under the Roman Empire and then for less than two centuries in recent times. I know it's a little hard to appreciate if you're not Italian, but I suggested a comparison. I guess I didn't succeed. And no offense meant to anyone. Just saying it's eerie. -- Alternatively, if you are Italian and among those who go "we're all the same, it's so good to be Italian", well, we're not on the same page there. Difference is a great asset. It's what's made Italy unique so far. And in any case my comment was not about cultural policy or the future of this country. It was just about the music.
@@Ardoxsho Yes, I'm Italian I understood perfectly well that you were surprised by the music, and I gave you the reason why you probably heard it in genoa
Hello Brianna! Genova looks gorgeous, it makes me so excited for my year abroad in italy next semester! 😍 I was wondering perhaps do you still have the info of the airbnb/place that you stayed in while in visiting genova? I would love to know since it looks so freaking adorable!! All the love from canada xx
Isn't Genova beautiful? I lived there for 6 months and fell in love with the city. And that train ride along the coast is my favorite!
