What I don’t understand if it’s not quoted in the Bible then why has it become some prominent with the body of Christ. Marriage isn’t even promised to us believers. There is nothing wrong with desiring to share your life with a man or woman of God, if that is what one wants. However, it is not even about us (Believers) but solely more about the will of God.
I have been praying for my future husband for 6 years, since I returned to faith. Recently I got a strong sense that next year Im going to be married. I just saw this on 4/15/24 but the day you posted it was 1 week after my TF birthday and when I stopped being "ashamed" or embarrassed to refer to My Man as My Husband even though we don't have the piece of paper yet. I have been conflicted at times referring to him as My Husband because of the "need" for a piece of paper to be "legally married" when in all truth, a marriage that is Ordained by God begins long before that piece of paper shows up.
