Well deserved tribute, and beautifully worded letter from Mr. Clapton! Can't believe I'm just now seeing this....Of course, wish they could have scheduled to include Eric Clapton, Bobby Whitlock, and Leon Russell, I think he did 8 or more lps with Eric, 8 with Leon, at least a couple with Bobby, many many more! Horrible how he left us so young. ✌😎

Karl Radle was a good man and boy could he play the bass. It just always fit right. For the 4 years I heard the band every night, he was always great and so was the whole band. Life has a strange road of ups and downs. I was in the hotel room when Danny Flowers played livin' on Tulsa Time. Karl was everybody's friend. He would never hurt a soul. We have since lost Dickie Simm's. He is the keyboard player with the long hair. He was one of the kindest people I had ever met. This night was magic just missing Karl there. Great job everyone. Life is short. Enjoy it while we can. The 70's seem like yesterday.

George Terry is not a legend. He just filled in like everyone else. As real as Marcy Levy.

In the late 50's I played in pick up bands around Tulsa. Bill Raffensperger always played bass. Later in the 60's I was related to Bill by marriage. What a fun time I had.....I never got to meet Carl but I sure miss Bill! I'm a bit disappointed that there was no mention of Bill in this vid even though he is on stage playing bass sitting down.

What an awesome bass player he was. Nobody ever plays "Layla" like Radle played it.

Carl Dean Radle is missed...Great person, great musician...another casualty of the road.
When you listen to someones music, you really get to know the best part of them.

Thanks Much. I recall the emotions I felt at Mr.Radles demise. I was not even aware of the reunion. There are a handfull of bassplayers I've admired and carl is certainly one of them. He influenced my playing. Thanks again and Be Well J. P.

Changed so much from his Gary Lewis days-what a tragedy.

Loved Carl's playing. His bass playing is right up there with Paul McCartney's. Have you heard him on "Let it Rain"? If you are watching this video you probably have. Funky, warm and melodic is what his style was. If I played bass, I would want to sound like Carl.
Jamie Oldaker. Great drummer. Clapton always had great drummers in his bands.
George Terry. I always wondered what happened to him. A perfect choice for this band. BTW, he sort of looks like Gary Moore doesn't he?
    Thanks.
