Feel the same way. On the upside most viewers will never find the spots. They'll fish the wrong tide etc etc.I used to give spots a long long time ago. Now they are fished out trash piles. Steve fishes during the week too.
Steve love your vids. I believe you can out fish anyone on any vessel. You go out to target a specific species, and catch it. I know you have tons of knowledge. I learn so much from you. This was my 1st season, although I bought my jonny boats bass 100, with the 2.5 Suzuki, and DIY'D a small 30 lb trolled off her bow. I've used some of your techniques, and have caught many different fish. Be safe and God bless.. 🙏🙏
Your kayak-buying tips video from 3 years ago popped up on my feed, and it made me want to ask: For someone buying a kayak today to do some inshore ocean fishing, what do you feel like is the right length of boat? I've done some kayaking before in harbors and estuaries in a 12-footer, so I have a bit of experience.
Sooo....ya don't even wanna see Upper Harbor Key, eh? I'm thinkin' it may be seeing less angler pressure and it is adjacent to both channels and deep water. Might be worth a visit
Content keys are so darn beautiful, man. That place is just amazing. Quite a long run, but so peaceful, wild, and secluded. Great place to swim, but be aware of sharks - I've seen quite a few big ones out there.
You know that other island you pretended like you didn't see is calling you. I often use cutbait the same way, drift mangroves and pitch as a search bait.
I think that island is called Upper Harbor Key. I too think it merits a visit from Steve. - from a west coast Canadian using Google Earth (also named Steve)
You’re killing me sharing all these BPK spots with the world! Been fishing there since 1980. I’m old school about keeping hot spot secrets!

@@davidsawyer1599 99.9% of the people watching don’t live in the Keys and don’t have a boat when/if they visit. It won’t add any pressure.
Oh those waters ... 😎👍

lol everytime you say DANG IT!!! the adds start
Did that small baitfish at 9:27 come out of the redfish, or does Steve just keep a couple of live pieces of bait in the footwell of the kayak, lol...
If you go frame by frame from 9:23 , you can see it was latched on to the side of the fish. Probably some parasite.
Goliath Groupers are so cool
Nice snappers were they to small . And nice Red
I notice you don't keep fish anymore. How about a Redfish catch and cook sometime?
Smart fisherman should let these guy's grow. It's nice when you hook up to a surprise. Let em grow...
@@anthonyvespia6662 no doubt, done it myself a few times. But also nice to eat some fresh fish once in a while
@@anthonyvespia6662 Pretty hard to "let them grow" when Florida has a slot limit on Reds.
catch and cook ?????
