That last part of Mikha crying appreciating the Blooms before eventhough Its not that many or 65, but look at all the Blooms supporting them now, Millions of Blooms around the world. 😊🌸🥰❤️ Including us Pierre.
Yeah, El Filibuterismo together with its prequel Noli Me Tangere were good novels that were written by the Philippines' National Hero - Jose Rizal during the 1880s-1890s It was the novel that inspired the revolutionaries to rise up against the Spanish with the goal of independence from them which eventually resulted in the execution of Rizal. Because of its importance in our history, both novels are mandatory to be studied by high school students and if you are into novels, hope you also consider to read that and appreciate our history 😊
11:08 Mikha being the Conyo queen 😂 while Maloi and Stacey making complaints about her in their minds is absolutely the most funny Filipino and BINI thing. Because they be getting what we call here the 'Nosebleed' phenomena. lol
Magandang umaga kaibigan! 😊 Finally, my bias Mikha! For me I'd describe her voice as "bedroom voice". No disrespect, but anybody with her voice in the bedroom would turn my knees jello. BTW, El Filibusterismo is a book written by our national hero and is a required reading. Congrats to our BINI for winning MYX song of the year & pop music of the year! 😊 Also Europe Asia breakthrough awards. So proud! 😊
Awww love mikha so much too! she used to be my bias before I fell in love with Stacey. she's the one who got my attention first but then Stacey pull me to her but still mikha is my 2nd most fave in Bini❤
I will only talk about it a bit... I recorded nothing because experiencing these things with my eyes was more important to me than constantly staring at a 2 inch camera screen even though the things are directly in front of me. And as for me being here for the first time I wanted to get accustomed with the ins and outs of everything first before sticking a camera into everybody's face just for hyped content.... that felt disrespectful towards ppl who maybe didn't feel like being recorded. When I live here and know what is ethicslly and morally ok to record and what maybe not then I will dive into more vlogging. But for now respecting the people here was my top priority and not running after every second of content.
Hope you are still enjoying your vacation here in the Philippines, Pierre! We use Filipinized terms of Spanish origin for names of months, days and hours of the day. Mikha already mentioned the 12 months of the calendar. For days, we use the same spanish terms: Lunes, Martes, Miyerkules, Huwebes, Biyernes, Sabado and Linggo (corresponding to Monday to Sunday). In the Visayas region, they retained the Spanish "Domingo" to denote Sunday. We use the following Filipino terms: Araw (day) Linggo (week) Buwan (month) Taon (year) Oras (hour) For time, most of us are used to calling out the hour and minutes in Spanish, adding the phrase "alas- (meaning o'clock)" before the number For example: Alas onse (11 o'clock)] + indicator "nang" + either of the three terms (depending on the hour of the day): umaga (morning), hapon (afternoon) or gabi (evening). So if we wanted to say 11 o'clock in the morning or 11 AM, we say "Alas onse nang umaga." If the time is three-thirty in the afternoon/3:30 PM, we say: "Alas tres y media nang hapon." If the time is 10:15 PM, we say: "Kinse minutos pasadong alas-diyes nang gabi." However, we also use straight Tagalog to announce dates and times in formal settings. For specific dates, we use the indicator "Ika-(similar to the suffixes -st, -nd, -rd or -th)" + date (written in figure/s but read verbally in Tagalog) + nang + name of the month (in Filipino) + year (written also in figures but read in English). So if the date is November 23, 2024, we say: "Ika-23 (dalawampu't tatlo) ng Nobyembre 2024 (twenty-twenty-four)." Using the previous cited examples, these are the Filipino translations: 11 AM - Ika-labing-isa nang umaga; 3:30 PM - Ika-tatlo at kalahati nang hapon; 10:15 PM - Labing-limang minuto makalipas ang ika-sampu nang gabi. Sorry for the long comment but I hope it helps, Pierre.
@@NeonReactionsPierre I would like to correct something here as there is a specific rule for some numbers in the Filipino language. If we are talking about placement or rankings, we use Una for First, Pangalawa for 2nd, Pangatlo for 3rd. Pang-apat for 4th and the rest would follow the numbering system used starting on the 4th. Notice that the "da" part for 2 and "t" for 3 is not used. This is a special rule for these 2 numbers. This also applies to dates and time. Instead of using ika-dalawa and ika-tatlo, it's actually ikalawa and ikatlo. 3:30 PM would actually be "ika-tatlumpung minuto makalipas ng ikatlo ng hapon" Using the unloaned Filipino words for these are really long so we tend to use the Spanish or English words for time so it's faster and easily understood. Also, in Bicol region, the Southern part of Luzon where Gwen is from, the Bicol language also use the Spanish "Domingo" for Sunday there instead of "Linggo" 0:00
Counting is fun! Sometimes we use Tagalog, Sometimes English, Sometimes Spanish! And each has a specific use case. There are times when you use Isa vs One vs Una
Because I'm still in cebu... I was at the gbv.. and to say it up front - no I did not vlog anything. I experienced everything with my own eyes and not through a 2 inch camera screen..
Ako: nag-aantay ng updates mo sa grand biniverse😊 Ako ulit: nagpunta ako sa tiktok at nalaman ko na wala kang updates o videos para sa amin tungkol sa experiences mo sa grand biniverse😢
I will only talk about it... there are 500million videos on every angle of the gbv out there... I wanted to experience it with my eyes.. in realty... and not looking into a camera screen all the time

So true!
The end here always gets me teary eyed though 🥹. BINI really has my soft spot, look how far you've reached now my walo!

Here's an idea: Pierre reacts to Noli and Fili
And, ironically, Jose Rizal didn't want Philippine Independence. He just wanted the Philippines to have equal treatment as that of Spain.
