Chelsea Broadaway I did that for 12 years. my mum chose my outfit for nursery (age 3-4). Then I had uniform from reception up to year 11 (age 4-16). Then 6th form we had to choose our own non-uniform (age 16-18). Uni choose our own, I would actively choose my outfit each night and put it together on a chair specifically ready for the morning (age 18-21). I now have a uniform for work and I love that because I'm late anyway and adding clothes decisions to my dad would waste more time!

Doctors usually normal clothes you would wear to an office but no heels, shoes that covers your toes and bare from the elbows down. Nurses and other healthcare professionals it ranges from pretty smart to smart casual. The only time you scrub up is when you go into theatre. When we go (lmao I'm only a student rn) in t patients rooms that are immunocompromised/infectious we wear a plastic disposable apron and gloves. WE DON'T EVEN HAVE COOL WHITE DOCTORS COATS (thats lowkey good tho bc paternalism in medicine is not so goooood).
I do this when I have my life together. When I know I have a busy time coming up, I try to have a couple ready-to-go looks lined up for the week, and any clothes I need to bring with me for rehearsals already packed, and wee lunch boxes with fruit and veg so I still get my vitamins. I will also just wear my pjs around assesment times because student life, and I am 1000% an outfit repeater
Love that ya'll did this! I'm interning in expensive New York. I have a total of 3 pants 4 shirts and 1 dress that I can wear to work. It's been a month of me cycling through just these clothes and so far I don't think they've found me out yet. Glad other ladies are experimenting with the minimal clothes struggle.

Having a “uniform” is soooo freeing. I work 8-5 5 days a week, volunteer, foster, and work as a carpenter with my grandpa. Having a set outfit to run out in helps save so much time. I have 5 long sleeve shirts, 5 skinny jeans, and my work boots. They are all the same article of clothing, but just in different styles. That way I don’t look like I’m wearing the same thing, but it is essentially the same.
I do have kind of a uniform for college! Its so simple in te mornings. I buy jean pants/shorts/skirt, black shoes/boots/sandals, black jackets/hoodies and different tipes of colorful tops so i can change a bit that part, but everithing goes with everithing! It so much easier to dress myself this way:)
