The Argelaguer cabins, the Garrell forest

Like someone who goes to the beach and plays sand castles, Josep Pujiula (from can Garrell) spent all his free time playing in the Argelaguer forest on the banks of the river and building cabins. Due to his artistic talent and his ingenuity he turned this game into something much admired by people, he entrusted this passion to many people who came to see him and help him.
Some will talk about art or architecture but what Garrell the stubborn did was to create a fantasy world where he could enjoy life.
He was aware that he was admired for what he did and this motivated him but he never considered himself an artist nor did he intend to sell or make a living from his art. It was his way of enjoying life.
Currently we can see the vestiges of what is left of this ephemeral art that is slowly disappearing!

Lo volvieron a reconstruir??

Lo reconstruyó él hasta 2 veces y lo que vemos es la última versión, pero a la que Garell murió se quedó asi y poco a poco va desapareciendo. Solo cortan la hierba para que siga siendo visitable, pero no hacen ningún tipo de mantenimiento a las estructuras.
