What Is Too Many Strawberries In A Container?

  • Welcome to another video!
    I realized during the growing season that I have too many strawberry plants growing in my containers, which caused some of them to not grow as much, not be able to produce strawberries or produce small strawberries. I still got a good amount.
    However, it'll be better in the long run to take some of the extra ones out.

    Thanks for sharing. I have mine in 6 inch pots and they are producing nice strawberries and runners. I started rooting the runners back in the same container, but was unsure if it would end up being too crowed. It looks like it should be one per container.😀

      Yeah, they'll probably still produce, but the berries won't get that big.

      @@DutchmansNursery That is kind of what I figured. Thanks for the confirmation. I got some plastic shot glasses from dollar tree and I am rooting them in them. Once they take hold I will put them in their own pot. Kind of works neat as I just set the glass in the pot, so when I move the pot it just comes with. Working pretty good : )
