honestly really impressive stuff from jahzzo. its not like fatality is a stranger to this mu, he plays vendetta all the time. jahzzo did an excellent job pushing his advantage state and minimizing his disadvantage against falcon who has really good coverage for ken's defensive options. fatality as always was so clean with his execution. always great to see.
One of the only bad habbits I see from jahzzo is he never lets that focus punch rip. I think there were a few times it would've connected and made a great mix up because once Fatality realized that Jahzzo wasn't committing to the focus attack, that's when Jahzzo started getting punished for it.
This has to be the best I've seen Fatality play throughout a single tournament. I wish I got to see how the reset would've gone, but that doesn't change Fatality's rampage. So glad I can show this to the people who said CEO was a fluke
@Tanner Yeah cuz everything Marss goes for works, lol actual fucking pepega mindset. Fatality has talked about dealing with overextensions on stream and leveling up his defense, in this set you can see how different he plays compared to his 2021 Vendetta sets.
@Tanner Then why levy the critique that because everything Fatality goes for doesn't always work, he's not as hype as Marss? Your criticism also don't apply to anything in this set, or really this tournament.
@Tanner just felt like you were picking a fight with someonefor complimenting someone else. It also didn't feel like I was adding a because, more like reading your sentences as part of a whole point. Sorry if the f word was too far, lol
Two of my favorite players and probably my favorite match up to play and watch. Lots of good lessons in this. It’s risky to use focus as a falling option against Falcon because of his up smash, upb, and nair can negate it and kill. With someone as skilled as Fatality getting down from his aerial combos/reads is basically a praying game and focus is always a tempting option but it is literally like drinking sea water. Jahzz0 won when he was patient. He also pushed his advantage better here than I’ve ever seen him do before. Seemed like the two SDs in the first set tilted Jahzz0 and he didn’t recover leading to over aggression and stale recoveries which Fatality punished. GGs always happy to see these two In my recommended.
Jahzzo kept trying to escape the Knee by focus attacking, but it doesn't have enough armor to tank the hit so fast. Airdodge was really the only real escape, something to learn from the matchup.
I thought that, too. Everyone knows to di out of falcon's uair combos and it sucks because I never get to actually get those. But to be fair you do have to mix up the di with fatality cause uair nair is still true at certain percents even with di out, and if you're at ledge and dIing out, it will definitely take an early stock lol
The first stock of set one and the last stock of set one are exactly the same. Fatality knows his habit and his opponent does nothing to change it up. Top player stuff
Beautiful set. Awesome play from fatality. Jahzzo kept up with him really well. I find the fgc characters a hard match up, as a Falcon main. I need to take notes.
Jahzzo is really good, but he presses buttons in disadvantage way too often instead of focusing on DI and neutral air dodges to not get hit with those classic up air-knee confirms lol…Fatality had a field day hitting so many of those bc of that
for once you have something positive to post on a Fatality vod but i doubt this energy's gonna last next time there's gonna be vods of him losing. You're so fake LOL.
I've found vast majority of commentators don't. Like a handful of the most notable ones do(Tk Breezy, EE, and Coney) but the rest sound like casual players who've been playing a couple months
Imagine learning the matchup. Ken started doing a Focus attack, but on frame 1, the armor only blocks a single hit up to 16.8% percent, you can't use it against the knee.
Y’all gotta know that there are inputs, right? Like not just for shoryu but there are different inputs for light, medium, and strong tilts, jabs, and specials as well as a proximity jab. Not cheesy to master, and def not boring to play. Especially as someone who grew up on Street Fighter. And there are more kill options/setups than jabs/down tilts -> shoryu
@@KatsuDjinGX People like to be vague about it to make them seem more complex than they are. To control the power/knock on moves back you just tap the attack or hold it. Pretty much the same basic principal as controlling the range on something like Palutena's explosive flame. You understand when and how to do it after playing them once. For the inputs it'll just be something like ➡️⬇️↘️ as you're about to do the attack(this is the hardest one really, the rest are just rotating the stick 90 degrees and one that is 180). It's also worth noting that the difference in kill power/damage for heavy hits is only equivalent to getting like one extra hit in. Sure, it can matter, but realistically it's pretty situational and you're not going to be able to fish for bare minimum percent kills too often against good opponents. If you play for a few hours a day, it'd only take maybe 3 or 4 days of casual play before you can do them with ease. After a couple weeks it becomes muscle memory and you're auto inputting without having to give it much thought.
Tbh, I find characters like Sheik, who take a ton of technical precision for their sequences, way more challenging to master than *rotate stick 90 degrees and press a button* shotos who touch you once and are ready to kill you.
Stop it, like literally stop. If you are calling with the intentions of harassment, I’m calling the police. This is a business number, and I will make an example to anyone who calls him. I, as respectfully as I can be, am going to ask you to don’t do it again.
