I agree with you that gst on commercial or rental income is not good
But there are people who get LAKHS of rental income. I know people getting 3 L, 5 L, 15 L up to 25-30 L also PER MONTH
I believe let govt put this GST on rentals for a upper end of such ones is valid provided the money trace is tracked perfectly
