- Lost my Immersion Vortex Pro with a three day old GoPro Session
The Woman decided to destroy my Vortex and the GoPro did
survive this accident because the Women did throw my Vortex and GoPro in the next Fountain.
The GoPro had Water inside and does not Work anymore.
I could Dry the Vortex and after a few days it burnt out one esc. - Авто та транспорт

This would have been a better video if you didn't have the obnoxious music obscuring the audio. I would liked to have heard what she was saying, if anything.

There's this great thing called failsafe, it shuts the thing off when something goes wrong. like this, it will just fall straight down making it easier to find and do less damage to anything it hits.

You're endangering the public by flying something in public that doesn't even have properly set up failsafe. It could've hit and sliced someone up real good.
On top of that lucky it was only the vortex and the session destroyed. I would most rather lose my drone then be at fault for injuring someone because I forgot or was not educated enough to set failsafe. The motors were still spinning lucky it wasn't a kiss and catch on fire.
You are all assuming the failsafe wasn't setup. How?

I see that, but there are other reasons why the motor(s) could still be on... It's just not good to assume. maybe we should ask the owner if he indeed had set it up and if he knew how to do it right.

you were also in the wrong not having a proper failsafe setup, you're lucky it landed on concrete. The woman is a nutter.

Surely it survived? I took mine swimming last Saturday... took it apart and dried everything, it flew the next day.

The session had water inside. It was filming about one hour before it stopped working.

I would wash any drone that gets wet with distilled water
from a grocery store. More the pollutants
in water that destroy electronics than pure water. Pure water doesn’t even conduct
electricity. Just wash it well with distilled
water and let air dry for a few days.
Could use hair dryer but make sure NOT to get electronics hot with it.

I mean, your quad landed on a trail with the props spinning until your pack couldn't support it. I wouldn't be surprised if the battery was puffed and noticeably hot. Maybe she dunked it because it was a fire hazard in the woods?

Failsafe Fail!
No shit! You set failsafe to drop, there shouldn't even be another option on a miniquad. Guy is lucky it didn't fly into someone.
I disagree with that, what happens if you are 100 Ft up and you are carrying a very expensive camera and gimbal setup? If it drops, there goes thousands of dollars, but if you have it to land with 1450 for throttle and angle mode for 1-3 minutes than you have a soft landing
How about you make sure you don;t fly over occupied space and learn to set your fail safe next time. :/

Um flying over a wooded area, how much safer to the public could you get? Lol not too good if you crash and give to climb a tree but really, wasn't a bit unsafe. Set failsafe and he's good to go. Well, not with this bird sadly, thanks to another idiot messing with other people's property. Shit has to stop.

If people are in a forest, don't fly over said forest. Instead, find a nice field to fly over, an empty one! The trees do not give you magic immunity from not flying over human beings, human beings are not "safe" in the forest when you fly over. The drone can dislodge natural debris (known as "widow makers" ) and kill a person quite easily.
