as an indian, let me be very clear: that 1st white woman said a bunch of bs about women not recycling their sarees! what is she going on about? sarees are a treasured part of our wardrobes and are passed down generations! we even recycle and reuse them into making other outfits, like a kurta or sharara.
so many of us reserve sarees worn by our grandmother to wear at special occasions, like a wedding. white people coming to India, exploiting our culture without giving a rat's ass about educating themselves is truly despicable.

People always say they like the bohemian style, but isn't that in reference to the Romani people? Isn't that style part of their culture? I had no idea about this before. I've learned that Europeans look down on them, yet they want to dress like Bohemians. Im not European, but i find this interesting. I like this style too, but I don't say boho anymore. I'd rather give them credit for the style. Very interesting. Great video.
"The Romania people" are Romanians and no, they couldn't be further from bohemian style. But you potentially meant "rroms" (?) - indian nomads that live on the territory of multiple European countries, and yes, they have a very specific style, with flamboyant, colourful, flowy dresses, braided hair, coins necklaces, etc.
@@sherrytzasherrytza4793 Sorry that I spelled it wrong, but yes that is what I meant. I recently learned this. I think it's cool to wear whatever style you want. We are all influenced by each other. However, it's good to acknowledge the original if we can. Give them their props.

I think the bohemian style takes inspiration from different oriental cultures,not only the romani. Believe it stems from the hippie counterculture in the 60's
