Custom heists that people made for payday 2 were incredible. Really hoping we can see that same level for payday 3, especially considering the switch from diesel to unreal.
Payday 3 mods are terrible right now, I’m not a modder but I don’t care about reskinning everything in the game. This isn’t a Minecraft texture pack, put something juicy in the game!
I highly doubt we will but i'd love if we get mod support not only for PC but for consoles as well, there's not much in terms of mods at the moment but one day there will be and i'd hate to miss on all of those sweet mods

Payday 2 player with thousands of hours. No, you can't get money or XP from those heists, otherwise you are cheating. Cheating maps will become a reality soon. Most players only cared about optimizing the official maps. Modded maps are a niche thing in pd2.
I know im very late but you can get XP on them, overkill didn't give much of a fuck about cheating it seems (DLC unlocker still works), and while there aren't many there are some very good quality ones.
Honestly seeing the parkour map , makes me think they could easily do some parkour stuff in the real game when ever they actually get around to releasing content

I had no clue you could make XP/money/play with friends on PD2 custom heists, that's sweet.
