There wasn’t a punch thrown between Albion and wolves that day, it was the biggest police operation since 1978. The city was closed !! The ring road was blocked off, no one got into or out of Wolverhampton that day without the police knowing about it.
@@smithyoftipton I'm not sure if it was this season or the one after but there was a Fight but not in Wolverhampton back then the Bus Route 79 ran from Wolverhampton to Birmingham passing the Albion Ground. On it's way now half way on the 79 between Wolverhampton and West Bromwich is a town called Darlaston sets of both fans met in a Pub called the Frying Pan right by me it wasn't when this happened I don't think actually it may have been. And both fans had a fight in the Frying Pan in Darlaston started by Albion I think as one lived in Rough Hay an area in Darlaston not far from that pub. I myself am Blue and White but yeah there was fights just not in Wolverhampton. In fact someone I know my Step brother was involved in that he got done for it not Prison but Fined for being involved. I found out much later about it.
Fuck what anyone else says, Paul Robinson is an Albion legend. Always gave it 100% when he put that shirt on and I'll never forget him for doing so.
