NOTE: I had to replace my first video due to a math error. Changing that error totally changed my valuation of this race. It is a great farming option! Special thanks to Kent K. for suggesting that I try this and to Ivan S. for showing my silly math error.
I wrote a comment about 42 opponents in the past... I've been playing this race since that time and in deed, there is 41 car (exactly in this race) that you need to overtake in order to get to the Perpetual Point (PP). You may not see the train after 41-st car, but believe, the PP is there. I made some progress and got skilled enough. Now it's very easy to reach the PP. I optimized the overtaking strategy and I reach the PP at the beginning of the 4th lap. You'll call me crazy, but I really always count overtakes and analyze whether I drive too fast or too slow. The most difficult part goes after. It's very hard to stay always "calm and aggressive at the same time" (ME7's words). Furthermore, FM made some changes recently, and if you get heavy crash incident that ends up with "crack" sound, it means that the race is over. MP4-X doesn't show the cracked windshield, but anyway the top speed suffers. After the "crack" you loose ~10 miles/hour of the top speed and some grip (car becomes not so stable as initially). PS: thanks ME7 for that tip about upside-down speedometer in the BMW =)
I like that 42 opponents theory. I’ll have to start counting and see if it’s the same in all races. Have you found that it is? I wish they would’ve left that glitch alone. The glitch where accidents didn’t affect your top speed in endurance races. That was only in place for the one update, I think it was 8.5. Anyhow, it makes sense that they put it back but I sure liked it while it was there! I was able to keep this particular race going after damage. However some like Le Mans are way too hard after damage. Many many people, including me thought that that upside down BMW RPM gauge was a mistake. Kind of cool that they pay that much attention to things.
ME7 no, it’s not the same in all races. Each race has its own number I think. For instance, that endurance race with Ferrari F1 at Silverstone. I overtake more than 42 cars and still can’t reach the PP.
Thanks or reuploading this. I've always had trouble with endurance races (and I've never made it past the perpetual point). I use low steering, no brakes or traction.
I honestly don’t remember. That was a long time ago for me, before I was making videos of my progress. The car has two events. “ formula Future” was a special event that probably was hard... I just went back to do some reading through the wiki forum. I can’t believe it but I won that car was just 170 gold! Looks like I fought for hours on one stage alone. I don’t think that event ever ran again They also made an LTS championship where you just buy the required upgrades and do standard races. Last time that ran it was 720 gold. That might change if they run it again.
I replied on your other comment so I won’t cover all that again. The short answer is it just takes more practice. Every single tip I can give is already in this video. There are no secrets, there’s only one version of the game. It takes practice. You also can’t have any of the assists on. Some people say steering assessed low is OK but I’d still say it’s better to turn it off and just turn up your sensitivity by one or two notches.
I am on an iPhone XS Max. When I played on my Samsung S7 I never got those effects but apparently they were there. It’s weird because my S7 had better resolution but the XS max seems to give me The full display available in the game. Sometimes the effects are quite frustrating at dusk and dawn races. I’ve rounded some corners and found myself blinded. However, that is real racing!
The MP4-X is the most fun car to drive if you're a quarantined adrenaline junkie 😁 It so f***ng fast in the corners that the Razerphone 2 stutters at 120Hz, with RR3 Gfx mod set to low. I love it, and hate it occasionally! See you at the OMP late this update 😌👍🏽
I’ve actually never done it in any other car. The cheapest endless race is Porsche short track in the Audi R8 LMS ultra. You have to fully upgrade to get access to it in the exclusive series.
Do you maybe have an older device?? I used to have issues when my devices got a little out of date. The game would still look good, but certain things wouldn’t work; like I had nothing in my mirrors. Other than that I would do a cloud save, delete the game, then reinstall it, cloud restore and see if that helps.
Wow, that’s very strange then. I would do a complete reinstall. Once you delete the game do a hard restart of your phone, Google how to do that for your device. Hopefully that corrects things.
there is 1 thing I don't understand though - why da heck no steering assists!? I, as a pretty experienced driver (not as much as you but I was able to reach top 1k on the scoreboard in some time trials) am completely convinced that low steering assists will make you drive faster and more consistently, ALWAYS. your car steers more naturaly and with some experience you can actualy feel when your car is going to slide. this significantly boosts consistency and ability to push your car to it's limits. no steering assists is a useless setting and I will never recommend it to anyone.
I know some really good drivers who use it, I know more really good drivers who don’t. That being said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. However you cannot do off-track driving with it, so that makes endless endurance racing pretty much impossible. You can drive off track but it will cause you to skid as it’s trying to get you back on track. That waste time time and momentum which makes it extremely difficult. There’s the odd place like a certain bus stop sections where it can also hurt you. I used to always drive with it on but now I find it almost always hurts me more than that helps me. Again, I do know some very good people who use it so I’m not saying it’s bad, it just depends what you’re trying to do in the game.
@@ME7_RR3 okey so now I understand I just never faced these problems or I simply didn't realise. You are a proper guy to ask such questions because you know the game so deep... I think that once I reach endless endurances I will still try to do them with low steering assists. At least I know what to do if I fail - learn playing with no assists... I will have to take this back to you then. Thank you!
I’ve talked about bus stops in a few videos but I can’t remember exactly where. However I can certainly show you where one of them is. If you go to the 26 second mark of this video, I’m just entering the bus stop. ua-cam.com/video/cJWAt-Mh5eQ/v-deo.html Another bus stop section appears in the Daytona Road course and Daytona motorcycle Circuit. It’s just like the Porsche short & long track versions. There is a left & right, short straight, then a right & left. The short straight run parallel to the main track. I find steering assists cause me to lose time specifically in these sections. These don’t come up all that often though. If you watch how bots drive this they do it very badly. They slow down a lot, make a definite left and right turn and then a definite right and left turn. However you can speed through these with a pretty straight path. You basically make a slight left turn, a longer arcing right and then another slight left.
Yes, just need the new update. Mine is glitched and those vinyls are just blank. I HOPE it’s fixed in 8.5!! Ive reinstalled and it still doesn’t show up for me.

Turn off steering completely, there is no way around that for going for a endless race
Cinem Media is right. All staring assists will fight you when you are off-track, which will drain your speed and increase your time.

ME7, why the mclaren mp4-x championship is not in the event archives anymore
From what I’ve understood it still there. I couldn’t see anything about them removing it on this page. rr3.fandom.com/wiki/Event_Archives
Makes me want to have MP4-X, but I heard that the Special Event is quite a tough one, no?
